They now had a new destination, the home of Jeremiah Wickles. That being the place they now have to investigate for clues.
"It seems Old Man Wickles deserves a visit." Velma states. "Before any of our other creepy conquests make a comeback."
"Freddy, up on the right." Daphne points out
Fred pulls up outside Wickles' manor as Velma says, "Old Man Wickles' ancestral manor."
As everyone got out, Shaggy shook.
"Oh man....another creepy crib." Shaggy comments. "How come we can't ever investigate, like, a Burger King or something???"
Scooby then reminded Shaggy that they're trying to be unlike their old selves.
"Right. Then again, 'creepy' is my middle name." Shaggy comments as they get out, Scooby remaining. "Scoob!"
Scooby ended up decking himself in the face on accident.
When getting up to the front porch, Velma comments, "This place could use a fixer upper."
Fred rang the doorbell by pulling the chain.
"YOU ARE TRESPASSING ON WICKLES' MANOR! LEAVE NOW OR PAY THE PRICE!" The doorbell booms
"What kind of jerk makes that his doorbell???" Daphne questions
Fred went to ring the doorbell again but Shaggy stopped him.
"Dude! He just said we'd pay the price!" Shaggy stated
"Shaggy, Shaggy, Shaggy...what could POSSIBLY happen by ringing a doorbell?" Fred comments
Fred pulled the chain again. Nothing happened. Then, there was some clicking noises but before anyone could really do anything, they found themselves falling through a trapdoor on the porch.
"RIPE!!!" Scooby yelped, being the last to fall
One by one, they all landed in a large, spherical, metal cage and when they were all in it, it shut and began rolling along a track. When it came to a stop, everyone fell on top of each other as the cage rotated a little.
"That's what can happen by ringing a doorbell, Fred." Shaggy stated. "THAT!"
"AT 7 PM THE OWNER WILL BE HOME TO SET YOU FREE!" The doorbell system booms
Everyone carefully got up and Velma groans when seeing the lock.
"Oh great. The lock's on a laser thumbprint scanner." Velma groaned
"Let me just get to it with my makeup." Daphne comments, pulling out her makeup bag
"Daph, now??????" Velma groaned
Daphne put her head and arms, holding the makeup bag, through holes in the cage as Daphne said, "You know what, Velma? It's never too late to learn to properly apply makeup."
Daphne then pulled out a couple things and got to work on trying to trick the lock.
"The last good thumbprint should still be there so a little brush and a porestrip...." Daphne comments as she gets the cage to open. "Voila."
The cage swung open.
"Alright, Daph!" Shaggy cheered
Daphne smiled while shrugging and said, "I enjoy being a girl."
Up in the main area of the mansion, Shaggy had some Scooby Snacks out.
"Okay, gang. Let's, like, split up and search for clues." Shaggy comments. "Scoob and I will go this way."
