-(Y/N)"s POV-

"(Y/N)!" Niko called, yanking my bag before I could run away. I"ve been trying to hide from her ever since she brought up the certain subject regarding a certain pudding. "You can"t avoid me forever, ya know? You are so confessing today. But before that, we"re having a talk." She declared as she dragged me under the weeping tree. "Now tell me, why do you like Kenma? No offence, but I don"t get it! His volleyball skills are average!"

I stayed quiet.

"(Y/NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN)!" Niko whined.

"No. We are not talking about this. If we are, you"re going first. Why do you like Kuro?"

"I don"t."

"Yes you do," I argued. "You should see your face when he grins at you. You light up!"

"Shut up."

-timeskip, Kuro"s POV-

"Dude," I said after I caught Kenma staring at (Y/N) for the hundredth time that day. "If you loooooovvveeeee her to so much, go ask her out!"

Kenma somehow blushed and paled at the same time. "No way that"s happening."

"Nope, no, no," I said. "It"s already Friday and I"m not gonna let you stall for another week. It"s either you ask her out or I help you. Today."

"Um... Kenma?" (Y/N) said softly behind the pudding, pointing at the weeping tree. "You mind coming with me? I have something to tell you." Kenma stood with his cheeks pink and followed (Y/N) to the field.

-(Y/N)"s POV-

"I have something to tell you too," Kenma sighed as he leaned on the trunk of the tree.

"Oh, you go first then."

"Um... I was wondering if you um... wanna meet... for lunch tomorrow," Kenma said so softly that I took a while to process it.

Did he just...

...ask me out?

"That"s... what I was gonna say.?

"Really?" He beamed. "We"re going to that cafe across the street at noon, that okay?"

I nodded. "Until then."

-timeskip-

I sat in the bus, staring out the window. The stars twinkled in the dark night sky. I"d spent the Saturday with Kenma, chatting, going to look at video games and strolling in the park.

Suddenly, I felt a bump on my shoulder. Kenma leaned on me with his eyes closed, breathing softly. I smiled as I played with his hair. So cute.

Kenma stirred and slowly opened his eyes, blushing as he seemed to notice how close we were. Neither of us said a word as we walked home.

"Bye, (Y/N)," Kenma said with a wave.

"Bye, Kenma," I said. "See ya next week!"

-Kenma"s POV-

Next week.

Her words rang in my head as I walked home.

Are we dating now?

What if she doesn"t like me?

What if I mess up?

I never thought I"d be dating.

I hate talking.

I"m not social.

But...

I"ll try...

For her.
