Jimin saw the Japanese soldier aiming at yn. So he rush forward and tackle the soldier. For a moment it looks like Jimin gonna win but the Japanese soldier attack his wounded torso and make Jimin stagger. The Japanese soldier take this chance to aim and shot at Jimin.
Jimin who saw what happened just froze in the place.
The soldier let out the shoot.
It's feel like the time stop for a moment. Jungkook rush in anger and kill the Japanese soldier on the spot. But Jimin still surprised about what happen. He can't believe it but unfortunately it already happened.
Yn cry out loud holding the hand of the lifeless body. "I'm sorry *sobs* i-i *sob* it's my fault..." Yn cry.
" I-i never have chance to say thank you for protecting me *sob*... I'm sorry!!!" The other person also still crying
"I'm sorry my friend..*sob* i know you the strongest among us... Rest in peace my friend *sob* good bye... Taehyung ah" Jimin say one last goodbye to Taehyung lifeless body.
"Taehyung ah!! Thank you *sob* and I'm sorry Taehyung...!" Yn say the last word to her childhood friend who decided to protect yn and Jimin using his own body as a shield.
To have an oath is like to have a curse but sometimes the curse can be a strength to protect. And that's what Taehyung do. He rush out jump in front at the Japanese soldier gun when he shoot to protect his best friends even with a smile he draw his last breath with content to know that he's die due to protecting his bestfriend and love one.
With that yn and Jimin say these word one last time to his brave friends.
"Thank you for being our friends Kim Taehyung".

Later that evening the villagers and soldiers give the dead a proper burial. For Taehyung, he was buried behind the medic house where he hang out whenever he get lazy. Only yn and Jimin is still there looking at the grave.
"He was smiling...all the time...untill the end " Jimin said. Yn just nod. Yn eye were red and swollen because of the crying.
"It's all my fault..." Jimin say weakly. That get yn attention
"Jimin-ah ... It's not your fault-".
"It's my fault yn!!" Jimin shout while sobbing mess.
"if-if i was fast...faster enough.. Taehyung.. Taehyungie will..!" Jimin can't continue with lump of sobs in his throat and he can't even control his tears from rolling down his now red cheeks. Yn know Jimin will blame himself. Even though yn did not have any memory about them here. It feels like yn know them since they were a child.
"Taehyung ah... I'm sorry..." Jimin cry. Yn go to Jimin and hug him
" please don't blame yourself Jimin... If anything it's mine, it's my fault *sob* if I saw the soldier earlier then Taehyung will...." They just hug while sobbing and at the same time comforting the pain of losing their best friend.
While the fire around the campground light up the area, the dread feeling within the soldier stoll linger. They lost a comrades, family and a person who light up the mood whenever he talk. Of course they know the risk of dying because of their responsibility but this? without any preparation? A sudden attack. That's new to them. Some of them feel like Jimin and yn, blaming themselves.
