Eli listened in worry at Malia in Mrs.Martins off, hearing her heart rate sky rocket. Before he had the chance to open the door, a coyote ran out and attacked him. Eli gave a scream as he fell back against the floor, first getting growled at and then licked on the face. "What is happening to you right now?"Eli lifted her up, carrying the four legged dog down the hallway with a sigh, she growled at him. "Yeah, I know. Gr, gr, grr."
"Eli!" Scott came around the corner, Lydia close after.
"No, go, go, I know where she wants to go." Eli waved them off, taking her to the room she use to go to before the lake houses. Lydia got the door for them. "We have to back off if she's gonna ch-"
Malia tried to bite Eli, thrashing around in his arms. "Aye! Chill out, woman!"
He let her down as she ran to the corner, growling as they waiting. He looked af her with risen eyebrows. "You done yet?"
Malia walked forward, her paws slowly turning into feet as she stood up. "It's alright. I'm okay."
"Fantastic." Eli turned around with Scott as Lydia brought her clothes.
"Do you know what happened?" Scott whispered his way.
"She was freaking out with her test." Eli explained with a shake of his head. "I don't know what's going on with her, she's been out of control a lot lately."
"She has been under a lot of pressure." Scott pointed out. "Life after graduation, The Desert Wolf. But, it shouldn't make her shift."
"Well, what if it's connected to a Stiles?" Eli suggested, the day after Lydia had informed them that is what they'd been forgetting.
"It's a he." Sheriff Stilinki spoke as he walked in. Eli jumped. "I was waiting by the door."
"Why didn't you just come on?" the Foxx boy gave a look of disbelief as he held his heart.
"Figured i'd give Malia time to put some clothes on." he shrugged. "But, it's a he."
"What's a he?" Scott frowned his eyebrows.
"Stiles. It's a family nickname. I never used it but my father did." he informed them, the pair sharing a gapping look.
"Am I not working anymore?" Eli leaned on Malias locker with an odd look. "Am I not your anchor now?"
"You are helping, I just keep shifting." she explained with a wild look, shutting her locker. "Even when I feel in control, i'm not."
"You think your body is trying to tell you something?" Eli suggested with a curious look. "You want me to do my thing for you?"
"No, I don't want you to do your thing." she shook her head with an exhale.
Scott walking over toward the two caught their attention. Eli smiled. "What did he say?"
