Stella woke up bright and early, she would much rather go back to sleep than pack a bag and head up to BU. But she was excited that she would see her long time friend Luke, who was basically the reason why she was up earlier than she was supposed to be.

When she arrived to campus she saw his stereotypical jock jeep in the parking lot. Parking right next to it as she grabbed her bag from the trunk.

"There better be a good explanation for this Luke" she spoke going towards his jeep

"We're going to the lake with the big shots" Luke said rolling down his window

"Nah, your fucking with me right?" she asked taking a step back

"No! Now get in the car!! It's a good four hour drive" he waved

"Fine" she groaned getting in his passenger

Stella locked her car before the drive. The two talking catching up on each other's lives and family. Then talking about how the day was going to go.

First they would head to their hotel and check in, then to the lake with everyone else. He mentioned who would be there and she was slightly panicking, big names would be there. Well from the 2019 NHL draft. But it was still freaking Stella the fuck out.

"Dude so you're telling me all of Jack's buddies are going to be there?" she questioned

"Yeah. Is there a problem with that?" he asked

"Not really, not like I haven't been a big fan of them for years" she shrugged her shoulders

"Well first one of them is my brother, your just meeting his friends" he explained

"Okay" she nodded

"Who are pretty famous in the NHL" he added

"Luke!" she shouted hitting his arm

"You'll be fine, we're almost there anyways. They're just normal people like us" he said turning off the highway

"Yeah, you're right" she said steadying her breathing

They soon arrived at the hotel, checking in and changing into their lake clothes. Leaving the hotel and going towards the lake, Stella completely forgot about the hot shots she was going to meet, remembering when she saw her absolute favortie. Trevor Zegras.

"Luke that's fucking Trevor" she blurted out as Luke put the car in park

"And?" he asked

"Dude" she looked at him with a straight face

"Oh sorry, they're normal people. Just don't do anything stupid and follow my league. I bet Jack remembers you" he said getting out

"LUKE!" Stella heard jack yell

"JACKIE!" Luke yelled opening his trunk "I HAVE YOUR BEST FRIEND HERE" Luke yelled pointing at Stella

"YOO" Jack ran over

"I forgot I was best friends with him" Stella said aloud

"Yeah, you ditched him for me though" Luke said

"Hey!!" Jack said engulfing her in a hug

"Hey jackie" Stella said embracing his hug

"How have you been?! It's been like forever!" he exclaimed holding her shoulders

"Dude I've been great, what about you?" she said doing the same as him

"Fucking great, come on and meet my buds!" he said dragging her over
