A light beams through the bedroom window, car horns and sounds of construction are heard, despite being so far away. They're soon drowned out by the sound of a blaring alarm clock. "Ugh, shaddup would ya?" Ryusashi says as he searches his nightstand for the snooze button. The alarm continues blaring, it's all he can hear. Sitting upright and rubbing his eyes, he finally reaches to the off button to stop the unending beeping. "There, I'm up now. Happy?" He said sleepily. "Here we go again..."

Ryusashi starts preparing for another day at work. He made sure he was presentable, ate a quick breakfast and most importantly, drank half a pot of coffee (because I do that in real life). He put on some black, loose jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black hoodie. After he was finished preparing himself, he slips on his pair of worn out sneakers and a blue and white baseball cap. He grabs his Walkman off the counter, puts his headphones on, and hits play. The cassette tape in it mainly consisted of old punk and rock bands he listened to with his father when he was younger. The tape and the player were gifts from him, and they were all he had left to remember him by. The first song to come on is "Blitzkrieg Bob" by The Ramones. He mouthes the lyrics to himself as he makes his way to the elevator. After leaving, he makes sure his apartment is locked, and double checks to be extra sure. His apartment is on the 15th floor out of 35. He presses the down button and waits for a few seconds. The elevator doesn't come for a little bit, and he groans in annoyance. "Come on..." he said, pressing the button few more times. "I'm running late here."

The song stops, Ryusashi sighs and decides to take the stairs instead. He skipped flights by jumping over the railings. The next song to come on is "Nite Klub" by The Specials. He makes it to the bottom of the stairs quite quickly with his method, snapping his fingers to the beat of the music. He opens the door and exits the stairwell and into the front lobby. He looks at the concierge, and is a little confused. "Hey, Phil. The hell are you still doin here man? The morning guy late or somethin'?" Ryusashi said to the sleepy concierge.

Phil's head sprung up, but then went back down as he chuckled a little. "Good morning to you too, Ryu. Yeah, Chloe's running late." He said, groggily. Ryu was a nickname that almost everyone called Ryusashi. He paused the cassette and took off his headphones. "Chloe? That's a name I haven't heard before. She new?" Ryusashi asked, curiously. "Yeah, first day today. Bettin' she overslept." Phil replied, rubbing his eyes. Ryusashi placed his elbow on the front desk, and smirked. "She cute?" He asked, smugly, and Phil sighed. "She's not what I'd call girlfriend material, considering she's only 17." He replied. Ryusashi laughed as he slipped his headphones back on. "Keep lookin' man, you'll find the one some day." He said, pressing play on the Walkman as Phil put his head back down

The next song to play was "Paradise City" by Guns and Roses, as he walked to the subway station. He taps his subway card and the gate opens automatically. The train arrives right as he walks onto the platform. The doors slide open, and he steps onto the car, and as he feel a strange feeling, as if he was being watched by someone, or something. He stops in the middle of the door, looking all around, taking off his headphones slightly, but no one was around. "Please stand clear of the doors" a mechanical voice said, and Ryusashi rushed to get inside. He quickly sat down at a seat by the windows facing the platform. He sighed heavily, and looked outside, to see someone looking right back at him. A woman, who had long blonde hair, with red ribbons tied at the ends, stared right at him with her purple eyes, as he stared back. She smiled, and waved at him when she noticed she caught his attention. Ryusashi awkwardly smiled back at her as the train left the station. "Psycho." He whispered to himself, shaking his head.

The train arrived at his stop and stepped onto the platform. It was a short walk from there to his work, so he had time to grab more coffee. A cup for him, and a couple more for his favourite coworkers. After quickly downing his second coffee that morning, he went into his workplace. An average office building where he worked as technical support, mainly for the idiots who didn't know how to use a printer. The day goes by, uneventful. Ryusashi didn't have to do much today, or any day, but he still got paid for it. Ryusashi punched out, said bye too his coworker and behind the same trip as this morning, just backwards.
