The Weekend pt.1

It was my last class of the day and I was ready to get out of school as Patience, Coop, Chris, Spence and I have plans. We all planned to go see a movie then hangout at the park. I was counting down the minuets on the clock when Chris tapped my shoulder. "What are you doin tryin to Jedi mind trick the bell system" he laughing at his own joke
I laughed along with and slowly finished my math {{Can't you tell I pay attention in class}heh that's a hint of sarcasm}
"We have 7 minutes exact until the belle rings" I said finally finishing the math
"It took you that long to figure that out" Chris pointed out half concerned half joking and marking fun of me
"Yeah, well it's hard for some people" I wish per screamed
"Of course it is" he said the mouthed to Coop and Patience
'No its not'
Coop and Patience stated laughing under their breath and then all of us bursted out in laughter.
The teacher then looked at us like we were insane and that was kinda funny so we kept on laughing till she glared at us so we quiet down and laughed under our breaths. Ya know since she just said quiet down not stop. And to add to that she was usually ok if we just quiet down. I lost track of time and heard the bell ring. I shot up along with everyone else in the class
"Meet you guys outside" I told everyone hopping they heard me as I was practically half way out the door. I threw everything nicely in my locker got my draw string bag that was a canvas material Aztec print bag (just wanted to get that out there) made sure everything was In it, slammed my locker and ran out the door to meet everyone in our usual spot but met someone else there as well
"What are you doing here Shawn" I asked him annoyance lacing my voice
"Just checking up on my lil' cousin" he said
"Ok one I know you mean coop and two were family cause you mom married in and I could tell you remind yourself that every day because every time I try and help you push it away" I said making my point just then Chris arrived he obviously didn't like Shawn especially with the glare on his face
"No Deja I am here to check up in you ya know
repaying the favor since you always checked on me" he said then walked away.
As a kid I always looked up to him and Brandon and we were close until Brandon was shot last year. After that he joined Tyron's gang to get payback and they changed him and he no longer hug out with me.it kinda broke my heart when he wouldn't hang out with me at school or on weekends so we drifted apart and he hasn't taken any advice from me, hung out with me and he barely has talked to me since then. But when we do talk it's small 'hellos, heys, and byes' nothing else. But if it wasn't for him making us drift apart I wouldn't have hung out with Chris, Spence, Coop and Patience more and now that we hang out more I feel like a different persona better person. We all hung out at my place while waiting for Spencer and he knew to come when he was ready.

We we're laughing at cringey jokes and pick up lines when I had realized I have never seen Chris smile so much unless he was around Deja. He was smiling so much he was gonna get wrinkles and so was Deja when I was out of my thoughts we heard the doorbell ring. Dej and Chris got up and got the door a minute later they walked in with Spencer and we all got ready.
