SADAQAH (CHARITY)

Give out sadaqah (charity) every day to  the poor , needy and less previledge

You do not need to be rich before you do that, remember even a good smile to your brother is a charity.

On the authority of Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:  "Upon the people's every joint a charity is due each day the sun rises. Your  being just between two persons is a charity; your helping a man with his mount,  lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it for him is a charity; and a  good word is a charity. And with each step you take walking to the [congregational] prayer is a charity; and your removing something harmful from  the road is a charity."
(Narrated by al-Bukhāri and Muslim)

The prophet (SAW) was reported to have said: " fear the hell fire even if it is with half a date, if not ( you could not afford it) then with a good word"
                    (Bukhari and Muslim)

It is said in many ahadith that the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammed (saw) was ‘more generous than the blowing wind’, in other words, he didn’t keep anything for Himself, he would give money and food to the poor and let himself go hungry.

The Prophet (SAW) said: “Charity extinguishes the sins like water extinguishes a fire.”(Ibn Majah)

The Prophet (saw) said: “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).”

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever gives charity equal to a date from good (halal) earnings – for Allaah does not accept anything but that which is good – Allaah will take it in His right hand and tend it for the one who gave it as any one of you tends his foal, until it becomes like a mountain.”
(

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1344; Muslim, 1014. )

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There is no day on which the people get up but two angels come down and one of them says, ‘O Allaah, give in compensation to the one who spends (in charity),’ and the other says, ‘O Allaah, destroy the one who withholds.’”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1374; Muslim, 1010.
