"You ready?" Bree asked walking into my room and I nodded combing through my freshly straightened hair "You know as soon as you get in the pool that bitch gone go POOF!" She spoke doing the sound affects and I laughed and shook my head "No."
"I brought this just for that matter." I opened up my beach bag pulling out a bonnet with a shower cap attached inside of it "Okay.. I see you came prepared." She nodded. "Mhm."
"I hope this pool party good.." she trailed off "Where is it again?" I asked grabbing my phone walking out of my room with her following behind me "Autumn said it's at the O'Neals." She said and I nodded "Finna be lit!" She cheesed.
Once we got downstairs nobody was down there which I kind of figured, so me and Bree went ahead and left out of the front door, locked it behind us, and got into my Jeep "You want me to drive?" Bree asked as I crunk up the car and I shook my head "Haven't drove this baby in a while I miss her."
"Not you missing your car." She dragged recording me and I smiled in the camera "Of course this my bestie right here."
I backed up out of the driveway as Bree grabbed my phone to try to look for a song on my playlist "Um. Someone is calling you." She said and I nodded "Contact name?"
"It's in Spanish." She said turning the phone to me and I glanced at the screen and see that Taija was FaceTiming me so I grabbed my phone out of her hand and answered it after setting it up on my dashboard- "HEYYYY!" She dragged and Briana was behind her smiling as well... bitch gtf.
"Hey..." I trailed off "Are you on your way to the O'Neals party?" She asked and I nodded "Yeah.. I'm about to go get autumn first." I said and she nodded "Well everybody looking for you- it's lit as fuck!"
"Who all there?" I questioned "The O'Neals ofc Jayda, Brandon, Dior, Bronny, and whatever lil white girl he's with, Avery, Bebe, Malaysia, Josh, Amari, Sharife, Omar- girl the whole gang plus some more basketball players it's just very fucking lit over here.. is your boyfriend coming with you?"
"Nah.. Jalen there?"
"Nope.. he going to a fair or some in Santa Monica but he's supposed to be coming at 5.. but that's just what he told me." She shrugged "Well- yeah I'm on my way." I said and she nodded and hung up the phone.
"Who's that?"
"The brownskin one is Taija, she's Tichina Arnold's daughter and one of my old friends we still talk from time to time but we're not as close.. the girl in the background is- Briana yeah I know her, isn't that the girl you fought?" She asked and I nodded "Y'all friends now?"
