"So you mean to say that you are planning Harry's wedding? The Harry Styles' wedding? The same asshole who doesn't wanted to marry?" Zayn asks slumping down on Louis' couch who hums as he manages the guest list,
"Yeah."
"And you are doing that why?"
"Because it's my job? Stop making a deal out of this, Harry is my ex and past. He's happy and moved on so should I. I leave next week for Bahamas." He informs before ringing up Mara,
"The ring on your neck and the dark circles under your eyes says otherwise. Louis, we both know you haven't moved on. Look at me." Zayn commands softly and Louis being the stubborn little shit that he is refuses to do so instead emails the backup plan for any unexpected changes to his assistant.
"Louis, for everything that's holy look at me!" Louis sighs and looks up, "What?"
"Lou, you don't need to be this strong, I've got a shoulder always for you, babe. Why are you going through this pain?" Louis shrugs though his eyes are getting blurry,
"Harry doesn't loves me. He said he never did." He whispers smiling through his pain and Zayn stares at his best mate with a heartbreaking expression, "I was a fool, Zayn. Even seven years later I still love him like I did when I was nineteen. I'm twenty nine, a matured man but-but his presence makes me so weak, I can't think straight. This past ten years all I've known is loving and craving Harry, It aches my every cell when he touches her the way he used to touch me. I wanted to be enough for him, but I lost him." He whispers voice quivering as tears slide down, He wipes them and looks at Zayn,
"Didn't he wanted to marry me faster? Wasn't it him who got on his knees three years in our relationship! And now he says he never loved me. I just wish I knew the reason why we broke up the way we did." He sobs and Zayn had enough as he moves forward gathering his tiny best friend in his arms as the small boy cries.
"I love him so much and I am so pathetic for him that even if he comes my door right now I'd take him. Zayn, please stop this pain." He begs and Zayn cradles him, "It's fine. Shh, it'll pass away, babe. I'm so sorry you had to go through this pain." The brown eyed man says and it's true,
Louis was the most loveliest thing to ever be on this earth, he was kind hearted and so soft, he deserved everything the world had to provide and Zayn wishes he had the power to grant all his wishes. The past seven years he's seen the way Louis had lost himself, his smile wasn't as bright and his laugh wasn't even real sometimes.
His blue eyes hollowed and Harry that giant motherfucker had officially did a number. And even though Louis says he'd accept Harry in a heartbeat even if that asshole comes around Zayn is not letting him in that easily. He's damaged Louis enough as it is and Zayn can't risk more of that.

"Harry." His mother reprimands, tone stern but eyes kind, "Mom, I'm really busy. I've got at least a million work before leaving for Bahamas."
"You know how disappointed your father would've been if he were to be present here? Our only child was undergoing a marriage that had no sign of love in it." Harry stops his rummaging at her words.
"If father would be here this marriage wouldn't be happening in the first place."
"Your father and I stayed for the better part of our lives which was seventeen years together. We were in love and if my Gabriel were to be alive we still would've been In love. Love is something that's very rare to find Harry, when I see you and Crystal that's the last thing between you both. You don't love her." She says and he continues his work of finding that god forbid marker.
