Tourist Traps

( ARIA POV )

Once Ezra and I were dryed off, we headed for the town square. The walk there was quiet, but it was good quiet, there were clashing waves filling the silence.

"I don't know about you, but I'm hungry, do you want to go get burgers at that place over there?" Ezra asked me pointing at a burger truck surrounded by tourists.

"Sort of looks like a tourists trap don't you think?" I asked.

" We are tourists, remember?" Ezra said laughing, I laughed with him.

"I guess your right, sure, lets give it a shot." I said with a reassuring smile.

He took my hand as we walked up to the truck. I started to examine the menu.

"What can I get you guys today?" The guy behind the counter asked. Ezra ordered first.

"I will have a cheeseburger with relish and onions please." He requested. I cringed and shook my head.

"Got a problem with my order?" Ezra said laughing .

"Yeah it's sort of disgusting." I answered giggling.

"Shut up!" He laughed while playfully pushing me. The guy behind the counter laughed too.

"Now what can I get for you?"

"Hot dog with ketchup, mustard and horse radish please." I asked sweetly.

"And my orders disgusting..." Ezra trailed off laughing.

"Well at least I didn't get..." I paused for dramatic effect. "RELISH! BLAH!"

"Oder up love birds!" The guy shouted laughing.

"Thank you have a nice day." Ezra said using his boyish charm.

"Yeah you too." He replied.

Me and Ezra found a two person table by the boardwalk and snachted it up before someone else took it. We began to devour our meals.

"Oh my god, this is so good." Ezra said closing his eyes to savor the flavor.

"I have a very hard time beliving that." I said laughing.

"Don't knock it till you try it." He said.

"Okay hypocrite, I will try your disgusting burger it you try my delicious hot dog." I said raising my eyebrows like a challenge. Ezra narrowed his eyes trying to process the request.

"Okay, sure, BUT if you spit it out you half to stand on this table and scream at the top of your lungs I LOVE EZRA FITZ!" My eyes widened.

"Alright but if YOU spit it out you have to stand on this table and scream I LOVE ARIA MONTGOMERY!" I said.

"Sound fair..."

We traded food and both took a bite. Ezra's eyes closed tight, as he swallowed hard and quickly found his drink to soak up the terrible taste. As for me,well,I spit it out. Ezra quickly realized this and he started to laugh.

"Please no I-" I started.

"No! You HAVE to do it!" Ezra said,now dying of laughter.

"I hate you."

"I love you." He replied smiling. I took a deep breath and stood on the table, people were already looking at me like I was one of those crazy loons who runs around yelling "THE WORLDS GOING TO END IN 5 MINUTES!" I looked at Ezra and whispered:

"Here goes nothing.... I LOVE EZRA FITZ!" I burst out. Some people laughed, some people were taking videos and some were rolling their eyes, honestly I didn't care as long as it was over. Ezra was laughing so hard I thought he was going to faint.

"Happy?" I asked with a sassy tone.

"Very." Ezra replied smiling, but he was already smiling so it just turned into an even bigger smile than before.
