(ARIA POV)
After my very interesting (embarrissing) lunch, me and Ezra headed for the town square.
"Oh! Look at that one!" I say pointing towards a petite, pink shop with antiques and rinky-dinks lining the wall. Ezra shook his head and laughed.
"I don't understand why people find those places so compelling." He remarked.
"I don't know their just...fun." I said.
"Great logic." He said patting my back. I frowned at him. "But - if you want to go, I guess we can." A warm smile spread across my face as I leaned over to kiss him. I took his hand and lead him into the shop. An old woman hobbled over to us with a bright grin.
"Can I help you young folks with anything today?" She asked.
"Oh no, we were just looking." I reply in my best 'sweet girl' voice. Ezra and I trail off in two sperate directions. My eyes lead over to a shelf filled with small glass animals. I pick up a tiny elephant that has a face like 'I know all the lies you've told' I set it down gently.
"Creepy..." I mumble under my breath.
"Hey Aria come here!" I hear Ezra call from across the store.
"COMING!" I reply. Looking through all the nooks and crannies I finally find Ezra in the jewlery section. I laugh to myself.
"I would of never guessed you were over here." I say to myself.
"Trust me I didn't except to end up over here either, but something caught my eye." He lifts up a small, simple necklace with a tiny diamond heart in the middle. I gasp a take a closer look.
"Oh my god, this is beautiful." I take a look at the price tag $235. I scowl.
"Ezra this is way too expensive, you can't buy this for me." I take it from his hand and put it back on the hook. He quickly grabs it again.
"Too bad because I already bought it." I jump onto his lips and and slide my hands into his soft hair, after a few minutes of (pretty intense) making out we broke apart.
"In case you forgot were kinda in a public place." Ezra says laughing.
"I guess your right." I say fixing my lipstick with a small grin. "BUT for the rest of the day I have to pay for ANYTHING we do, and I mean anything, like if some hobo comes up to us and asks for a penny I'M giving him the penny." Ezra laughs hysterically.
"Okay, okay deal." We walk past the checkout counter and see the old lady standing there.
"Thank you." I say waving at her.
"Have a nice day." She replies with one of the warmest smiles I've seen in a long time.
Ezra and I head for a snow cone cart called "Tropical Treats" Little kids pass us with all eyes focused on their snow cone as they devour them. I laugh to myself.
"Wanna share one?" I ask winking at him.
"Sure." he says smiling back.
"What kind?" I ask.
"I'm a fan of green apple, what about you?" Ezra replies.
"I prefer orange..." I say looking off into the distance imagining the sweet, savory taste chilling your mo-
"Earth to Aria, earth to Aria." Ezra says waving his hand in front of my face, I shake my head and giggle. "Sorry." I mumble.
"So..I guess we should get orange." He says laughing. I nod my head slowy feeling a little bit guilty considering he just bought me a $235 necklace. I look up at him, stand on my tippy toes and passionatley kiss him. Ezra was startled at first but soon wrapped his arms around my waist which made sparks fly throughout my body. It's weird, even though we have been dating for over a year, every time we kiss it's like our first kiss all over again and I think thats what true love should feel like.
