The first thing I could was run over to where Jussie was laying at, him and Marcus were ducked underneath a picnic table.

"Babe are you alright" Jussie asked as he grabbed me and hugged me tightly .

"Yes honey I am but the question is is anybody hurt ?"

"Babe where is jay!" He asked me panickly.

"Jay !" I yelled.
As the three of us started to get worried and shout out for jay we searched in many places as possible,there was one place we didn't look and that was by the donkey trailer where Marcus and the guy were feuding in the first place .

As I Walked over to other side of the trailer I seen jay holding her stomach and blood ran through her hand as she held on to her stomach .

"Jay oh my gosh what-I -I don't understand !"

"Mimi me sorry, I killed that bastard he-he shot me " she panted in her accent .

"Shhhhh it's gonna be okay, somebody call 911! Now ! "

Marcus and jus finally came around to see what was that about .

"Mia what's going-oh my gosh Babe! where is that motherfucka!" Marcus yelled .

"Marcus she killed him .."I replied.

"Yo bro , tip laying over there behind the trailer ." Jussie said .

"That son of a bitch" Marcus spat.

"Mamm I'm a off duty doctor and I would love to help" approached a middle aged woman .

"Yes please do !" Said Mia .

"Hey 911 is on the way " said the woman's husband .

The doctor started to do certain procedures on jay and she used whatever tools she has in her bag to stop the bleeding and pressure. jay started to yell and fight a little as the doctor started the procedure.

"Jay sweetie please let the lady help you ."

" She is continuing to bleed has the ambulance arrived yet ?" Asked the off duty doctor.

"They are pulling in towards us right now as we speak ."replied Marcus

"Look me and jus will drive to the hospital and you go with her Marcus and Mamm thank you so much for all of your work ."

"No problem and she should be fine once she arrives there ."

The emergency technicians ran towards jay as one was behind the two with a stretcher they hurriedly wrapped her up in and attached her to the stretcher, trailing behind them was Marcus the expression and look on his face was dreadful. too bad jay beat him to the punch to kill tip .

"Well let's go ahead and get in the car " Jussie said as he kissed my forehead .

When we reached the car it was nothing but complete silence, this was the same silence Jussie and I had before when I aborted our baby in college , back then we were both young and we barely had the money to eat so bringing a baby in the world was not a good idea to do . Jussie did wanted to have the baby but at the time I could not have the baby especially out of wedlock.

The day I came home from the clinic when I had done the procedure i cried constantly cried that amounts of time for months, Jussie was avoiding me eventually he has forgiven me but still until this day I feel he still has anger towards me for that .

"Why are you so quiet babe?" Jussie asked .

"Just thinking on some things like if jay and the baby will be alright ."

"I know they will baby we just have to have faith in the lord."

"I know baby but sometimes our past can come back and haunt us all you know , like who knew the trip guy was going to make a special appearance today ."

"Nobody but God my love but speaking of past do you mind if I ask you something ? " He asked coming to a red light .

"Yeah sure" I responded back as I was reading a art blog on my phone .

"Back in college when you became pregnant did you feel anger towards me the moment you found out you were pregnant ?"

"Jus baby I wasn't mad sad or angry I was more of like scared having a baby out of wedlock , especially at a wrong timing that just added more and more stress and pressure and we both weren't ready at the time ." His shoulders and body language went tense once I started to carry on with the question I can tell this will lead to a disagreement .

"Mia, no matter if we were ready or not we should have kept that baby ."

"But jus were you willing to quit school and work at stinking McDonald's for the rest of your life?"

"Mia you know what I am a man a man is willing to do whatever it takes to provide for his family if Had to come down to me working at a fast food joint then I would be one Greasy man , Mia you killed our baby out selfishness not for the sake of me -"before he could finish anything else I had to cut him off because he started to get to me with the words he is saying .

"Cut the shit okay because I have never been selfish out of this relationship if anybody is being selfish is you ! "

"Me Mia how is that possible ?"

"You are so quick on your feet for the pharmacy the moment we are supposed to try for a child ."

"A baby ? Mia you aborted one you should have kept that one when you had the chance" when he dropped that bomb of keeping the baby I felt nothing but a hot shower of anger over my whole body how dare him to say something so cold like that.

"Look Mia baby I'm sorry" he said in calmer sincere tone, he tries to grab my hand to hold it but all I did was jerk back and fold my arms.

We must have been arguing the whole ride because we were in the parking lot of the hospital. to avoid tension and drama for the sake of jay and the baby Jussie planted and kiss on my forehead then opened the car door for me and took my hand and led the way through the hospital entrance , we made our way to the receptionist desk and gave jay's name and the receptionist seemed to be having a hard time to find her information.

"Okay ma'am you said the last name was what again?" Said the older receptionist lady.

"Her name is jayan Blake" Jussie repeated .

"Okay let me see .. Umm it looks like she is in room number 724 that's the intensive care unit you go on down the hall sweetie and take a left but it's a limit two person at a time."

"Okay thank you ma'am" jussie said yanking me fast to go .

As we enter the hallway towards her room a nurse is outside talking to Marcus , Jussie and i took a stop by Marcus side to hear what she had to say .

"Your wife I do have to say she is a fighter " said the doctor .

"Thank you but doc , but will she make it through this "

"I can say this son the wound was internal and she did loose numerous amounts of blood so right now her life is on the line ."

"And what about the baby..?" I asked.

"That's something I should talk to Marcus alone for .."

"No please , they are my family" Marcus whinnied.

"Well we had to go ahead and do emergency ceasarean and with the amounts of blood that caused-" I tuned out on what the doctor was saying because it was probably the same ole bull crap the pull at a time like this. my attention caught back on to his words "too early", when he dropped that bomb Marcus screamed and dropped to the ground like a five year old who just found out their pet just died, all me and Jussie could do hug him tightly all I could think is damn that saying is true "what's done in the dark do come to the light ...."
