                                   November 15th

    Trust.

Trust was something that Lorenzo valued within his job. His father taught him that it was to be earned, and when it was broken, all ties and all feelings or friendships were broken in that instant, and to get back the trust, the person would have to try like hell to earn it.

Lorenzo had managed to leave without lillian noticing, all of her attention captivated towards the screen that had an animated movie about a girl wanting to leave her island, as Lorenzo would describe it. He felt bad for leaving her, however he understood what it would mean if he had brought her into work along with him.

Not only would everyone who worked with him would know about her. But the people who he didn't trust, which was a wide variety of people, could easily put a target on Lillian's head. So sneaking out of the house was the only option he had been able to think of at that moment.

He just hoped that this wouldn't take to much time, and that when he was done, she wouldn't have noticed him missing.

However, the minute that Lorenzo entered his building, he was immediately flooded with a large amount of paperwork and information about the shipment that went wrong the night before. The shipment consisted mostly of a large sum of money and a few guns in order to keep an alliance that his father had made with another mafia.

It seems that when Lorenzo's father Xavier had died, so had the other mafias passed as well. This is why Lorenzo had to attempt to make or keep alliance with Russo, the Son of the other mafia man. In order to keep the peace between the two, Lorenzo had scheduled a meeting while he was traveling. Meeting Russo, and immediately not liking the man nor his I own rich kid demeanor. However, they made a deal, in honor of their fathers, to stay in alliance.

That was until Russo decided to not keep the agreement, having three of Lorenzos men get killed, and harming Marco in the process. After looking over some of the paperwork, camera footage, and meeting with some of the men who were apart of the deal, it seemed that after the meeting with Russo, the said man had sent in a few men in order to take the first hit, immedeaty declaring war between the two.

However, Lorenzo didnt know who, the traitors where, when they joined, and how they found out the private information within such a short time. Which is why he and Lorenzo were currently sitting in his office, looking over everything that happened, who was in contact with any information of the shipment, and who could the traitors possible be.
It had been only been an hour since he had lef Lillian, and to say that he was beyond angry was an understatement. His mind immediately went to how he could move to protect lillian. If the wrong information gets out, knowing that Lorenzo may have a soft spot, that any and all targets will be directly on Lillian, and he would kill anything and anyone who even thought let along acted on harming lillian.

Sighing he threw the file on his desk, catching the attention of Luca who sat across from him. "I want more men around the house, no one is allowed to go onto the property unless they are to be trusted, no newcomers, no one that had been hired within the last year. I want lillian protected. Contact the trusted alliances, other dons, inform them of cutting all ties with Russo's Mafia, I know that they will within a command."

      "Anything else?" Luca asked.

"I need every single one of our guys and everyone we came in contact with on my desk at the house, all important meetings will be moved there. I need..." Lorenzo stated, getting cut off in the middle of talking by his phone ringing.
