"Who's there?" asked Marrisa

"It's me my lord, Estell" replied the servant

"What?" Marrisa sternly replies

"The-The king wants to see you" hesitantly said the servant

" Hmm" replied Marissa

A sudden rail of thought rolled through her mind..

She steps out, dresses, and puts the shining gold crown on her head and goes to her fathers chamber with guards following.

Marrisa was on her way to her father's chamber when a gaurd came running

" M-My lord, the nobles are here"
stuttered the gaurd.

" And?" asked Marrisa

" They se-seem angry--"

Without letting him finish she turns and heads to the court..
She could hear them talking and arguing but the court went silent as she entered, She sat on her throne.

"Begin" she commanded.

"YOU CAN'T DO THIS, THEY- ARE--" said a nobleman

" Keep your voice low or I ll have your tongue feeded to the royal dogs" warned Marrisa, slightly angered.

"You think You can do anything?" replied the nobleman

" Yes I do and I will" said Marrisa

" I am warning you, I will take away my investments and Thanes would drown if anything happened to those nobles"

" There are thousands of Traders and nobleman who wish to invest for Thanes so you better be not making that point to save them" said Marrisa

" Thanes cherishes because of us nob--

"NO! Thanes cherishes because of its people!" Shouted Marrisa.

"I ve given you enough time to prove those douchebags innocent, they have been caught and would be beheaded and If the court or Thanes faces any discomfort or problem then I ll have you beheaded to for betraying the ruler and the country"

"He's my brother" exclaimed the nobleman

"He's a criminal " replied Marissa.

" It was just a girl, he was a noble" exclaimed the nobleman

" It was a crime that he committed " answered Brandon with anger in his eyes

" I ll give the girl's family money, no matter how much they would ask" replied the noble

" Oh let me have you hanged naked at the centre of the town for three days with bags of money hanging through your feet" said Marrisa.

" So what if he did it to her? He was pleased by her.. it was her fault not my brother's...you'll have him killed just for that?" argued the noble

" No, I should have him burned alive for that, How dare you think that she was just a girl? How dare your brother even, lay hands on her? Mathhew Charleston will be punished tomorrow, I dont care who he is, the laws are same for everyone .....replied Marissa.

" Spare my brother, or I ll withdraw every grain of my feild from the town"

" I ll have your feilds rooted up" exclaimed Brandon.

" I am Derrick Charleston, remember it...I ll have you at your knees Marrisa Bane, If anything happens to my brother you won't live happily, if i loose my brother, I ll make you loose everything"
Said the nobleman.

"Keep your threats for a cat Charleston, Your brother would be found and beheaded tomorrow for the crime he commited, how long do you think you can hide him? I ll get him even if he hides under the soil!

"YOU WOULD REGRET YOUR DECISION MARRISA BANE" said Derrick with absolute hate

" Get out of my kingdom" gritted Marrisa

Brandon was highly angered and was about to take out his sword and have the noble's head but Marrisa signalled him not to.

" I don't want your threats Mr Derrick, I hope you wouldn't want mine too, remember I don't hesitate .Serve your country and me and have a happy life ahead or leave it right now.

Nobles stare angrily at her.

"Keep those eyes for seeing the heads of those men"

While some were hatingly looking at Marrisa, most of them were scared of her, in each kingdom the king obeyed the nobles, but Marrisa obeyed none, they knew if they went against her they would be thrown out of the kingdom or would be punished in the worst way possible so they did not dare say a word against her but Derrick promised himself that he would avenge his brother that he would never let Marrisa lead a happy life after snatching his.

He left the kingdom without anyone's knowledge. He could never see his brother die nor could he ever live in Thanes anymore. He did not desire wealth anymore, he was sure that his brother would be killed so now he only wanted revenge.

People feel relieved knowing that somewhere deep down she still cares and fights for them. They believed that her cruelty was just a mere blind and was not towards them.

"Behead them and send the heads to their families, I want them to suffer and face it" commanded Marrisa.
