"Have you ever once-" 

His voice broke as he struggled to say the words out loud, hoping and praying to god that what was happening with him right now wasn't true. 

Gorya would never do this to him.

You never deserved her anyway, a voice, barely audible, whispered inside him, who would ever love you with all your demons and flaws?

Don't waver, another voice cried out, much louder, don't believe in the lies she's telling.

Thyme looked up at the girl he loved and asked the dreaded question, one which came right from his fears.

"Have you ever once looked at me as an ordinary person?"

Gorya's eyes filled with tears, which got mixed with the pouring rain. It was breaking her apart to see him like this. Her heart was shattering along with his and all she wanted to do right now was to go to him and hug him tight, tell him she was just joking and that she loves him.

She loves him for being Thyme.

"The only way that Thyme will survive is to force him to grow up as fast as he can."

Roselyn's words suddenly rang in her head, reminding her of the reason she was doing this.

She was doing this for him.

"Bring back the old Thyme."

She was doing this for his own good.

"The only person who can change Thyme is you, Gorya."

Her hands went behind her neck to open the clasp of the beautiful necklace Thyme had given her, the memory still vivid in her mind. Her heart screamed out loud for her to stop, but the pouring rain blocked out the protests, letting her continue as the heavens helped in the playing out of the cruel twist in their story.

"Please tear him apart."

"If you were someone ordinary," she said as she took the necklace in her hand and walked towards him. 

Thyme's eyes were locked onto the gold pendant as she thrust her hand forward in front of him.

"Save Thyme's life."

"I wouldn't even look at you."

Her voice was colder than the rain that was falling down on him as it resonated throughout his entire body.
