Jungkook ran towards the scent till the sound he heard earlier became louder so he stopped running to avoid startling the other.
He slowly walked towards the opening and aside the sound earlier he could hear flow of water which means they were still very safe and far from the border.
When he finally got a sight of the clearing he saw the male he was looking all over school for today. He saw the blue eyed male practicing arrow shooting at a moving objects. When he looked closer he saw the moving objects were in shapes and size of wolves and he also noticed the mate was aiming for their legs and even with the spend and irregular movement of the object he didn't miss one target.
He smile to himself and just hid behind the bushes to enjoy watching his mate practice,this should be the longest they have have been in the same space. Just as he was day dream he saw an arrow flying towards him which he luckily dodged just in time causing his wolf to howl-bark.
"What are you doing out here?" He heard his mate's very deep voice ask, even though the words were meant to sound harsh he still just felt like squealing at hearing his voice to add to the face but he was brought back to reality when he heard the others word next.
"You should go back, it isn't safe to be out here alone" The mate commented as he walked back to his training area.
"Shouldn't he be worried for himself?"
Jk walked out of the bush to get a better view of his mate since he has be found out there is no point hiding anymore.
This time Taehyung had changed his weapon to a rod. He was swinging the weapon so smoothly with a lot of force and speed.
Jk just laid in his stomach as he watched in amazement at the other's training moves. He wondered why the mate was aiming lower and he looked back at the moving objects and realized the training was aiming at wolves in the wolf form.
Making him wonder why, wolf fight wolves and human fight humans why train to fight a wolf in your human form. The speed of a wolf will always be against the human form.
Taehyung stopped swinging the rod after a couple minutes breathing hard which looked very hot to the fascinated wolf. He watched as the blue eyed male walked to the river and drank from it before splashing some on his face.
Jk walked towards him and drank from the water too really wanting to speak to his mate which he has been trying to mindlink but it wasn't working, maybe he blocked it and he can't transform to his human form as his clothes were far away.
If only the other could just touch him that would be all the best communication right now. When he looked up from the water he saw the other was looking back at him
"You are one curious wolf" the other said walking towards him and Jk froze
The mate walked up to him and raised his hand slowly towards him, this was a method to let the wolf know you mean no harm before touching it to avoid it attacking you out of reflex. Jk was flattered by the gesture and bowed his head a little placing it under the mate's palm. The gesture earned him a chulck from his beautiful mate who passed his fingers through the black wolf's furs which happens to be very soft.
Taehyung removed the leaves struck on the wolves furs but continued to comb his fingers through the furs seeing the wolf enjoying it.
Jungkook leaned more into the mate's touch with his eyes close and a sigh of content leaving his nostrils and his tail wagging. If he was in his human form he would have hugged the mate while nuzzling into his neck to scent him but if he tries that now it might scare the other.
"We should go back now, it's already getting too late" he heard the mate say
"I don't wanna go yet"
He complained but of course the other could not hear him.
"Your furs are really very beautiful and soft, so dark making it more enchanting"
"People are scared of dark wolves and my mate says it's enchanting" Jungkook thought squealing inside
"I don't think I have seen you before, atleast your wolf form"
"Neither have I seen you around till recently" Jk response but of course to himself
"Since you can't tell me your name in your wolf form I will call you blackie" the mate said before he finally stood up to gather his things.
"I want to know your name too"
Jungkook whined really planning to just wing it and transform there and then to be able to ask the right questions but he shouldn't be greedy, his mate was so nice even without knowing who he was.
"Hurry and be your way" he heard his mate say as he started walking back into the dark forest.

"Jungkook, where were you? We didn't see you at training and your mindlink wasn't connecting" Soobin asked looking very worried
"We climbed into your room and you were no where to be found, I almost risked it to go ask your hyung about you but we thought that would only put you in more trouble" Yeonjun added
"Sorry guys, I got caught up in something when I went for a run" Jungkook answered as he collected needed materials for the day from his locker smiling to himself still thinking about the interaction with his mate yesterday
"You don't seem sorry to me" Yeonjun scoffed earning him an eye roll from Jungkook
"What happened yesterday kook" Soobin asked looking worried still
"Well, I met my mate during my run and we kind of talked" Jungkook said eyes like he was daydreaming
"Really!" Yeonjun asked excited
"Yes, I'm so happy" Jungkook hugged his books smiling from ear to ear
"That's really great kook, so how was he? What did you guys talk about? What is his name?" Yeonjun bombarded him with questions
"What did you mean by you kind of talked?" Soobin asked less excited than the two best friends
"Well, we didn't really talk to each other" Jungkook shrugged
"What the hell does that even mean?" Yeonjun asked confused
"I was in my wolf form and couldn't transform because you know why,I tried mindlinking him but it wasn't working, I ended up asking unanswered questions and he just talked to me by caressing my wolf. He even named jk who shockingly loved the nickname" Jungkook explained excitedly as they all walk away from the locker towards their classes
"What are you so excited for then?" Yeonjun scolded hating that his excitement was all a waste
"I think that's a progress tho" Soobin comforted
Just as they seperated and Jungkook with Yeonjun were walking to their first class that's starting in 20 minutes, Jungkook heard his name been called causing the two friends to turn towards the direction of the sound so did everyone on the hallway staring at the handsome man that just walked into their school.
