Jungkook was matching his way to Taehyung's place. This confrontation was long overdue.

He can't believe that the older recognized their mate bond and have been quiet about it.

He slowed down in his step as he approached the space of the older's house. What if he didn't want him as a mate? Then he should have just come up straight and rejected him, right?

How sure are they that Taehyung really recognized their mate bond, moreover nothing in the book mentioned anything about mate.

Everything they read could all not relate to his mate, they could be over analysing.

But If he truly is a godly wolf on earth on a mission, why would the moon goddess bestowed him a mate.

"Ah!" Jungkook roughly ruffled his hair in frustration, alot of thoughts are contradicting itself.

"Jungkook?" He heard his mate call out causing him to look up meeting the ethereal face of his mate. The book must be right.

No wonder he looks so unreal, beauty beyond what words could describe it, scent more heavenly than any wolf he has ever come across. That could be because they are mate

Then his supernatural strength and fearless reaction to threats.

"What are you doing here?" he heard his mate ask him causing him to come back to reality.

He thought as he watched his mate furrow his brows in confusion to why the younger was not responding.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked again.

An idea pooed into his head and he quickly turned around backing his mate who got more confused.

"You forget something in school"

"I did? I don't think... Why are you turning away?" Taehyung answered causing Jungkook to slowly turn to him [not sure of the expression but like shocked, mad and sad at the same time]

"What's wrong?" Taehyung asked dropping what he was holding trying to approach the younger.

"You recognized our mate bond?" Jungkook did it again.

Taehyung widened his eyes at the realization that the younger wasn't speaking out loud none mindlinking either. He was using the Mate bond to communicate and he fell into the trap by responding to it.

"I can explain.." he started with sagged shoulders.

"Explain?" Jungkook asked with furrowed brows trying not to get mad at this point "What do you have to explain? Or is it that I am not good enough to be your mate?!" He growled and rubbling sound could be heard behind his voice.

Tho that didn't cause taehyung to flinch or anything.

"That's not it..." Taehyung tried to explain again.

"Then what is it?!" Jungkook asked frustrated not giving the older a chance to explain but then his heart dropped "Do you want to reject me?" He asked almost breathless as he held his breath and tightly fisted his palms scared of the older's response.

"No! Of course not, just..." Taehyung tried again

"Just what!" Jungkook almost yelled getting his voice back after confirming rejection was out of the story.

Taehyung was quiet at the question not knowing what to say to the younger. He has his reason for not telling the younger they were mate and he doesn't feel like sharing that reason just yet, Not when the younger could probably reject him right now.
