The group but Mikasa left to finish some small tasks before they woul leave, norie and Mikasa spoke for the rest of the time, norie always found her to be a bit distant with people but she's happy that she's talking to her.

Mikasa became more comfortable with her and felt like she could hear norie talk for hours, I guess Armin was right.

Norie looked up and saw Levi near some bodies that she quickly knew who they were and sighed.

"Mikasa, you don't mind sitting here with Eren? I gotta do something"norie says

"But captain your rib-Its okay, I'm okay please sit here with him"she cuts her off.

Mikasa stared but then she nods and took Norie's place, she helped her down and Norie went towards Levi who was crouched down looking at the surveys corps symbol on the jacket.

"I...I'm sorry"She only said.

Levi quickly looked at her and said "norie you should be resting-I could've told them to step back"

Norie cut him off and he looked at her.

"Now we lost them and Jiro-"She tried to speak but she stopped herself as her voice cracked.

"Am I gonna lose you too?"Norie said in a whisper.

Levi looked at her and stood up, he walked over and stopped in front of her.

He grabbed her left arm and lifted it up a bit, he grabbed her ring finger and reached inside his shirt and pulled out the chain that held Norie's wedding ring and slid it on her finger.

"I promised you"

She looks at him and he continues.

"I promise that I will never leave you like that"

Norie looks at the ring in her finger and then she reached into her shirt and pulled out the necklace that had Levi's wedding ring.

She grabbed his left hand and did the same thing he did to her.

"Okay..."

Norie looked up at him and whispers "and I promise you back"

Levi rubbed her knuckles and then lightly placed a kiss on them.

"-I know his parents!"

Levi and Norie heard as they walked towards Erwin, Levi had wrapped some wrap around Norie's rib tightly so she wouldn't have to deal with a lot of pain.

And Norie feels relief but she's still scared that she might've broken some ribs and she could hurt her right lung.

She was laid taking notice on Levi's left foot, he kept telling her she was okay but she knew him and Norie knew he was screaming inside.

"If nothing else I'd like to bring him home!" They heard a cadet yell.

"Don't be selfish!"the other yelled

"Squabbling kids?"

"Calm it down no?"

"Captains..."the began.

"If you confirmed he's dead then that's enough"Levi says

"Whether you have the body, sadly, dead is dead"norie says.

"What she said, it won't change anything"

"No..."the cadet says.

"We say that Ivana and the others went missing, that's my final decision, give it up"

They started to walk away and they heard the cadet behind them say "Don't the three of you have any human feelings at all?!"

Norie quickly turned to him and caught his eyes and used her abilities to quiet him down.

"Not know cadet, not now"She only said and continued to walk.

Everyone rode on their horse back to the wall, Norie was in the carrier looking after Eren, she felt the wind blow through her hair and she breathed it in. She wasn't in much pain as before, but she knew when Hange would check in on her it'll come back.

Levi rode next to her with Norie's horse next to him, he kept looking at her to check.

Norie looked at Eren and saw the boys relaxed face, she smiled as she felt like he could finally feel some peace and not terror.

"How about tea when we get back?"she whispered to Eren with the light smile still in her face

Levi looked at the small interaction and he felt his lips twitch up a bit as he covered his mouth and looked back in front of him.

"Titans!"

Norie and Levi quickly looked behind them and saw a two Titans running towards them.

Norie squinted her eyes and saw the two cadets she had spoken to before and one of them had a body behind him.

"What the hell"Norie mumbled in disappointment and fear as one cadet shot a red flare.

"Onward at full speed!"Erwin yelled.

Norie grabbed erens arm and right shoulder to hold him steady from the bumpy and fast trip they're about to make

"Mikasa!"norie yelled as she saw her get off her horse and use her gear to slice the neck of the Titan to save the cadet that was about to get eaten.

"Levi don't-I'll be back don't worry"Levi cut her off.

Norie stared and then nodded her head.

He looked at her and gave her a slight smile and then started to slow down and catch up with the ones behind them.

Norie looked at Eren and she sighed.

She then heard yelling and she turned to see them throwing the dead bodies out of the carrier towards the Titan so it would slow down and they'll be able to lose him and get back to the wall safely.

It worked and Norie couldn't feel anymore relief.

"Eren!"

Eren opened his eyes and looked around, he went to sit up but Mikasa stopped him.

"You shouldn't sit up"she says.

"Where's Captain Norie? I kept hearing her voice-Eren she's fine, shes with Captain Levi"Mikasa cut him off.

Eren looked behind her and saw Norie sitting on the horse in front of Levi, she had her eyes closed, the back of her head resting on his shoulder and Levi had an arm wrapped around her waist.

Norie felt the horse bump up and she winced and held onto her ribs, making Levi notice.

"You okay?"

She kept her position and nodded slightly.

"I gotta be, I'm just ready to go home with you and the others"she whispered in pain and discomfort.

Levi had his head hovering over her shoulder, he leaned his temple on her cheekbone and moved it up and down slightly to show her comfort.

Norie grabbed onto his hand that was wrapped around her waist and squeezed it slightly.
