𝘆/𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝘃 the day of finally here. the day i've been dreading for weeks now. the day christian leaves. but i'm going to be strong and not cry because this is such a good opportunity for christian and i want him to know i want nothing but the best for him while he's away.
we had to wake up super early to go to the airport to drop christian off. but i didn't go to sleep at all so i was up all night. we had to leave for the airport at 6. it was around 5 so i decided to start getting ready and go make some coffee.
i walked into the kitchen and saw daniel sitting at the counter eating cereal. "oh good morning y/n" he said looking up at me. "good morning daniel surprised to see you up this early." i replied. "i couldn't sleep." he said. "yea me either." i replied. "nervous about christian leaving?" he asked. "no...no" i replied. "y/n we've been friends forever...you can tell me what's really bothering you." he replied.
"daniel i love christian and i trust him. really i do. but i'm so scared he's going to fall back in love with vanessa when he sees her and spends all that time with her." i said while sitting down next to him. "y/n you know that would never happen. sure her and christian had something. but now you're with christian. he's the luckiest guy i know. he'd be stupid to be in love with anyone else but you. you have nothing to worry about." he replied with a soft smile.
"i guess your right. that's silly of me to even think there was a chance christian would do something like that. i'm just going to miss him." i said. "i know you will. we all will. but you won't be alone you have me and anna." he said while bumping my arm. "so glad to have a friend like you to talk to daniel. thank you for always being here." i said while hugging him.
after talking with daniel i went to get dressed and wake christian up to leave. "today's the day babe." i said while shaking christian to wake him up. christian got up and got dressed and we loading his things in the car and headed to the airport.
it felt like the quickest car ride ever. we all got out and went into the airport to get christian through baggage claim and security. then it was time for him to board the plane. he said his goodbyes to his family then said goodbye to me.
"i'll miss you most." he said while wrapping his arms around me. "it's only for a month christian i'll see you soon. but i'll miss you." i replied while looking up at him. "i'll call you everyday." he said. "i love you" i replied. "i love you more." he replied while kissing me goodbye. then he walked through the doors to board the plane.
