Jane breathes heavily as she grips her weapon in her hand, looking around cautiously in the dark for any sign of the reapers. The reapers have unleashed their attack and the group proceeds to scatter into the woods. "Run!" Duncan shouts as he begins running. Jane turns around and quickly ducks as she sees a knife being thrown her way.
"Silas?" Ashton questions as he looks around and suddenly bumps into Jane. "Get down!" Jane shouts as she and Ashton drop as multiple throwing knives are thrown at them and when they turn around they see Duncan has been stabbed with every single one of them. Alden, Negan and Gabriel have been injured while Cole is killed by his throat being slashed violently.
"We have to go. Now" Jane states as she looks around seeing that Silas is fighting off one by himself. The reaper punches Silas across the face and throws his body into one of the trees. When Jane and Ashton run over to help, Jane is grabbed and thrown into a tree roughly, her back hitting the surface. "Ah" Jane groans as she looks to Ashton who about to be killed but before he can be she throws one of her knives into the hand of the reaper, causing him to groan in pain and drop his weapon.
Ashton grabs the weapon off the ground and hits the reaper over the head with it. "Jane" Ashton says worriedly as he crawls over to her. They both look back to Silas only to find he has now disappeared. "Where did he go?" Ashton wonders, wanting to look for him. Jane stands to her feet and helps Ashton to his. "I want to find him but we have to go before we die next" Jane says as she looks around cautiously.
Maggie is briefly ensnared by a whip, but Elijah comes to her aid and frees her, only to be ensnared himself and dragged off. Alone, Maggie observes her environment. Sensing a reaper nearby, she throws Elijah's sickle at him, but misses which gives her enough time to escape.
"Jane, look" Ashton calls out and Jane looks in the direction he's pointing too, seeing Silas being dragged away. Ashton tries going towards him but Jane pulls him back. "No, no! Silas—" Ashton cries out but Jane covers his mouth and shushes him reassuringly. "I'm sorry but we have to go" Jane says as she starts pulling Ashton away despite the tears clouding her vision. "No—no" Ashton mumbles into Janes hand as she continues to drag him out of the woods where the biggest threat is.
"Hey, kid" Magna greets as she goes to sit next to Roslyn on the stairs of someone's home. "Hey, Magna" Roslyn greets with a smile. "Do you know when mommy will be back?" Roslyn asks to which Magna sighs softly, shaking her head. "She always comes back so... don't worry" Magna states and Roslyn nods her head, wishing her mom the best.
"I wish she didn't leave as much" Roslyn admits sadly. "Your mom is a leader and a great one. Leaders like to do whatever they can for the people they care about, for the people they love. And she loves you and cares about everyone at Hilltop and Alexandria. Plus, we need the food" Magna says forming a smile on Roslyn's face as she rubs her back reassuringly.
