"You guys seriously have to play this stupid game?" Ivy asks as she guards the gates of Hilltop with Elijah and Marco. "It's fun" Marco cheers and Ivy sighs, rolling eyes before she looks down, seeing Lydia about to leave. "They got you too?" Ivy asks and Lydia chuckles and nods her head. "Yeah, I told Maggie" Lydia says and holds up a map that Maggie have to her. "Hm" Ivy says as she clears her throat and looks back out in front of the gate before Elijah remarks that a lot of people have been leaving.

"You'll be back though, right?" Elijah asks and Ivy knits her eyebrows in confusion as she looks over to Marco who has the biggest smile on his face before looking down at Lydia and back up at Elijah who watches Lydia with grace before him and Ivy open the gates for Lydia to walk out.

"If you want her... go get her" Ivy urges, nudging Elijah's shoulder. "Need an escort?!" Elijah asks and Lydia turns around, her cheeks heating up. "Why?" She asks and Ivy looks over at Elijah, wondering what his answer will be. "Um, It's a long walk" Elijah says and Ivy looks back at Lydia whose hesitant and has yet to give an answer and it seems she'll never have one as Ivy hears hooves sounding the ground in the distance which grabs everyone else's attention.

"We got a rider coming!" Elijah shouts, warning the few other citizens of Hilltop. A stranger soaked in blood approaches on horseback, then falls off his horse. He gives Lydia a map and says that a slaughter is taking place. Just then, he dies right on the ground in front of Hilltop, his blood sinking into the dirty ground.

"Who the hell is that?" Ivy asks as she, Elijah, and Marco approach Lydia outside the wall. "Nobody we know" Elijah answers as him and Ivy look around at their surroundings before looking back down at the dead body before them.

Maggie studies the stranger's map but says they lack the resources to help whoever sent the stranger. "He died begging for out help" Marco defends and Ivy nods her head in agreement. "We're barley holding on as it is and for all we know, this could be a trap" Maggie says as she points down at the map. "And what if it's not?" Ivy asks making Maggie stammer over her words. "It could be from someone we know like the commonwealth or Georgie" Elijah adds as Maggie shakes her head, not wanting to lead her people into a possible trap.

"We go to help, we leave the Hilltop open to an attack" Maggie states. "I think you underestimate our strength. Yes, you've traveled and you've seen worse things but that doesn't mean you can choose to ignore this" Ivy argues, wanting to go out and search the area because someone could need help.

"I agree. I don't think this is a trick. He was scared and he wasn't lying" Lydia says, standing up for herself and the man that died at the gates of Hilltop. "Even if he wasn't, we can't go up against another group without the people to fight them" Maggie states. "Well we would've had more people here if you would have chosen to take the deal the commonwealth so happily gave to you" Ivy says, tilting her head slightly as she looks to Maggie who clears her throat awkwardly, ignoring Ivy's comment.
