KELLIN'S P.O.V.
The weekend passed by quickly, and soon it was Monday again. Jesse actually managed to get us to school on time, and the entire first hour was filled with Vic's eyes burning holes into the back of my head. As soon as the bell rang, I bolted out of the classroom, not caring that I had totally ditched Jesse. I quickly slid into my second period math class and ended up running into Justin."Whoa man, are you running from the cops or something?" He laughed.
I sat down at our group's usual table and tried to calm my breathing. "No. I-"
"The little shit was running from his boyfriend. And he left me behind!" Jesse pouted as he joined us.
I glared at him. "Vic is not my boyfriend."
"Not yet." Jesse smirked, to which I threw a pencil at him.
"Is he the only thing you talk about?"
"When I'm around you, yes. Maybe it'll finally get through that thick skull of yours."
Gabe and Jack sat down with smiles on their faces, already knowing what we were talking about.
"So, did Kellin get laid on Friday?" Gabe giggled.
"No, Kellin did not 'get laid'." I frowned. My frown turned into a scowl as none other than Oliver Sykes walked into the room.
All of my friends gave each other knowing looks before bursting into laughter.
"What? Why are you laughing?" I swear, my friends are beyond stupid sometimes.
"We saw you glaring at Oli, you jealous hoe!" Jack snickered.
"I am not jealous! I've always hated Oli." I said, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Well, that one is true." Jesse admitted. "He's hated him since third grade when Oli pushed him in mud at recess."
Everyone chuckled, but I just rolled my eyes. "Oli is just a fucking idiot. And-" I was cut off by the bell ringing and our teacher running into the classroom with a bunch of papers in hand.
The period went by quickly, and I soon found myself in the one class I despised the most: Spanish. The only reason why I was taking this stupid class was because I need two foreign language credits to graduate. But if it was my choice, I would not be wasting my time failing this class. Mr. Winters handed out our tests from last week, and I couldn't help but cringe slightly at the big red 48 on my paper. The teacher instructed us to work on some shit before calling a few people out into the hallway, one of them being me. There were eight people in total and unfortunately, Vic was here too.
Mr. Winters cleared his throat. "Okay, so I've realized that some of you have been having trouble in this class lately, and-"
"But sir, I'm Mexican." Vic pointed out smugly, earning a chuckle from his friend Tony.
Mr. Winters gave Vic a look that probably wouldn't be appropriate if it was any other student, but Vic just smirked and winked at him. Ew.
"Anyways, the Spanish department has come up with an idea. We picked the kids with the lowest grades and the lazy native speakers," another glance towards Vic, who was actually looking at me, "And we're going to partner you up! Kind of like study buddies, isn't that fun?"
"Not really." Tony muttered, earning a glare from the teacher.
"So, this bucket has the names of the four native speakers in this class. You gringos," He stopped to share a laugh with the Mexicans while we just stood there confused, "have to pick a name at random. Kellin, you go first."
