I sigh, stretching my back as the day has been exhausting. Jennie guided me through the entire building and introduced me to heads of various departments. Due to the recent shifting and my leave, there's an overwhelming amount of pending work, especially with an important project underway in our company.

Jennie has been a lifesaver, organizing files efficiently, though the sheer volume is daunting. Glancing at my watch, I'm surprised to find it's already 9 o'clock. I decide to message Tae, who promptly calls me in response.

Y/N :Hey, Tae, I've finished my work. Can you come pick me up?

*Taehyung:* Darling, I'm already in front of your office waiting for you.

**Y/N:** What? Why didn't you call me? For how long were you waiting?

*Taehyung:* Don't worry about that *chuckle* I can wait for you for my whole life.

**Y/N:** Huh? I...just leave it. I'm coming in 5 minutes.

Call ends

The call ends abruptly as I cut it hurriedly, flustered by the conversation. I shake my head, attempting to regain composure, and head towards my private elevator. Inserting the card, a unique access shared only by Tae, Jennie, and me, the elevator quickly takes me down.

As the doors open with a gentle ding, I step into the private parking area. Scanning my surroundings, I soon spot Tae leaning against the car, hands comfortably tucked in his pockets, exuding an air of casual confidence.

I approach him, and before I reach him, he turns, enveloping me in a warm hug. It catches me off guard, and I settle my hands on his back, letting the embrace linger.

For a full minute, he hugs me, and I recall him mentioning days ago that my scent calms him down. I don't entirely understand, but I let it be, appreciating the comforting closeness.

Reluctantly, he pulls away from the hug but still holds my hands. "I've reserved a table for dinner at a new restaurant for us. Do you want to come? I mean, if you're not too tired, of course."
