Summer disappears;
Autumn breeze, caress my fears?
Winter, freeze my tears.
AN - Well this was interesting. @Fairytale_Fabler took the trouble to let me know about this contest, so I had a go at it! I've dedicated this effort to her (of course :) She is another WP superhero that inspired me to keep trying to learn to write.
I have been reading one of her books, 'Winter's Bite'. It's a genre that I've shied away from - there are fairies in it! Not what 'hard scifi' readers like me look for at all :) But as I read, I realised that the story, and the story-telling, go way beyond categories. I was quickly hooked, and found in myself a hypocrisy too - because much of the science fiction I've read and loved is, in fact, equally fantastical. I am enjoying 'Fairy Tale: Winter's Bite' as much as any story I've read before!
She also won a Love Shots contest with 'Be the Love that Guides Me Home' - a technical challenge to write a romance in different genres week by week. It is an amazing, and deeply moving story. It made me cry when I read it. That's proper writing! Thank you Alicia :)

PoésieInspired by a message to her followers from @MorrighansMuse about #poetrymonth I've written a silly poem. It made me laugh writing it, I hope some people find it entertaining :) I might write some more, if I get time, because this was a lot of fun...
