Third Person POV

It has been a few weeks since the Thiam kiss, all is going well in the world of Beacon Hills. Well, all except for Hayden. She has made it a mission to convince Theo that Liam doesn't love him and in time will come running back to Hayden. Now you may be wondering why Liam hasn't dealt with her sooner. Well, Hayden has threatened Theo on multiple different occasions saying that if he told anyone, she would send him right back to hell.....for good. So ever since Theo and Liam have kissed and said the magic words, he has been dealing with the constant thought that it is all fake and sooner or later it will all be over.

 Liam has been getting the feeling that something is wrong for the past week and he can't seem to figure out what it is. He goes to Deaton to try and figure it out.

Liam POV

I'm at Deaton's to see what is going on with this continuous feeling of doom. I have a feeling it's someone in my pack but I just can't seem to put my finger on who it is in particular. "Hi, Liam. What brings you here?" Deaton asks when he sees me walk into the room. "Well, I have been feeling like something is wrong and it has been getting out of hand. It's like the longer it happens the worse the feeling is." I tell him with the hope that he can figure out what's wrong. "Well, has anything particularly good happened recently that has made someone angry or resentful?" He asks. "Well, Hayden is back in town and she had started saying I was her boyfriend although I am dating someone. And even when I made it clear to her that I was dating someone she seemed angry like she wanted to hurt him." I tell him forgetting to filter out the gender of my so-called, significant other. "Him?" Deaton asks which surprises me as I realize what I have just done. "Well, yeah. Theo Raken. You should know him he caused some trouble in the past." I say kind of nervous about how he is going to react.  "Well, Liam, there's your answer. Something is happening with Theo and Hayden. I can't tell you if it's bad or good but it has something to do with him," The second Deaton says that I am almost out the door to go find Hayden or Theo but right before I can leave, "Hey, Liam, can you stay for a second I want to do a ranking check."

 A ranking check is something we have started to do ever since Scott became a true alpha.  It takes about 10 minutes.

"Sure." I quickly reply.

After The Check

 "Liam, I have found 2 things. Whether they are good or bad is up to you." That scared me. "What did you find?" I ask with slight nervousness. "Well for starters, I found that you are in fact a true alpha, just as your own alpha. Have you been shifting lately?" "Only to protect Theo." "Hm. I also found that you in fact have found your mate, or your soulmate as you will." I felt my face get hot. "Do...Do you know who it is?" I asked, I was secretly hoping it was Theo. I would never admit that though. "I have an idea. But that is for you to figure out on your own." He says smiling. I nod and wave as I walk out of the clinic. I think a walk in the woods is justified. 

I walk to the woods, and I hear yelling.

"Liam will never love you. You're an unlovable, a murderer, a psycho. I'm surprised you made it this far." The unknown voice said. 'Why does that sound like Hayden?'  I walk closer to the voice and low and behold Hayden is yelling at Theo while kicking him.

"Hayden you bitch!" My eyes turn maroon red and my teeth sharpen as I feel my nails change to claws.
