3 years later after graduation
Draco, Astoria, Theodore, Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy, Luna, Blaise, and I were having a blast at karaoke night. Draco and I would constantly laugh at our friends who had terrible singing skills. Astoria was too drunk to even realize that Theodore had finally asked her to be his girlfriend. Everything was perfect. I was extremely content with my relationship with Draco. Over the years, there might've been a few hardships but he was the sweetest man I've ever met.
"Next up are Y/n and Draco!" announced Blaise while raising a glass full of red wine. I hesitantly walked up to the stage with my arms linked with Draco's. He gave me a reassuring nod and the music started to play. I grabbed the microphone from the stand and started singing. Luckily, it was a song I was very familiar with.
"Romeo save me, I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you, but you never come
Is this in my head, I don't know what to think"
I sang and arduously swung my hips around. Some of the lyrics got missed out while singing, but what mattered was that we were having a great time. But when I turned around, my entire world came to a pause.
"Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad, go and pick out a white dress
It's a love story, baby just say yes"
Draco was now on his knees as he held up a beautiful diamond ring. He looked up at me with pleading eyes and I immediately embraced him in a bone-crushing hug. Butterflies swarmed in my stomach as tears of joy trickled down my cheeks.
"Yes, Draco! Yes! Yes! Yes! A million times yes!" I said before our lips met. The kiss was passionate and loving, it made me feel like I was floating. I was on top of the world right now. All those late-night talks with him about us getting married and our dreams to live together, under one roof, were finally going to come true.
I could hear friends cheering in the background but my entire focus was on the man in front of my eyes. "I love you" I muttered while looking into his mesmerizing orbs, my forehead resting on his.
"I love you too, y/n" He said before kissing me again and slipping the beautiful ring onto my finger.
