Chase P.O.V
I woke up. Man my shit was hurting. Bruh. It was one person I wanted to see when I got up. Lauren's cute ass. She wasn't anywhere in sight, she prolly mad about them seats. She loves me I just know it. Her dad walked in. "Wassup fella?" He asked. "Not shit in pain where Lauren at?" I ask curiously. "She down a couple roo-" "what the fuck happen I didn't even get time to cuff her. I'm killing someone as soon as I get out this hitch." I said mad. "Chill. She gets released later she gave up blood for you she was the only match. And lord knows I ain't want her to but she got her own mind" he said all serious. "Ooh shit. Now I got her blood in me. Yup she love me." I said googling the ceiling and shit. "Nigga she love me." He said. "Of course daddy. I will always love you more. " we both turned around looking at the door. Shit she even made hospital rooms look good. She came and sat beside me. I just stared. "Nigga in the hospital or not, what I tell you about staring at me." She said bluntly. "My bad lil girl." Her dad finally left to go get her car cleaned. "You know I like you. Right?" I asked her. "Yes, I like you too buddy." She said like a smart ass. "I mean I like you. We've know each other for almost 2 weeks and I think I'm starting to like you like you. " I said. "Chase shut yo ass up. You love me. Who doesn't." She said laughing. Just then sofie busted in. With her mom right behind. Man I hate this bitch. Soon as she walked in she had a nasty attitude. "Hey baby,have you been good?" I asked sofie. "Of course daddy. I pulled no cards this week. " sofie said looking at Lauren. "Can I get some attention? You are my daughter." I said laughing. "Sorry daddy she is just so pretty." Sofie said. "Thanks, your prettier though." Lauren said to her. Stacy cleared her throat, sofies mom. Everyone looked at her. Lauren looked kinda mad. "I'll let yall have family time." Lauren said walking out. "Yes Stacy?" I said frustrated already. "Well why would you let her around our daughter if I never met her. That's disrespectful." Stacy complained. "Oh my god mommy. You complain to much." Sofie said. "Yes she does." I confirmed. Lauren walked back in looking calmer then she did before. "Hey chase I'm going to get some food want anything?" She asked. "Uh yeah just bring me some nuggets and a fry please." I asked. "Yup I'm getting you one fry too." She said laughing. I asked sofie if she wanted anything. "Yes can I get a kids meal with the nuggets milk and apple slices" sofie asked. "Sure ill be back" Lauren left. Sofie climbed in bed and watched tv with my for about 20 minutes. Just as she was dozing off Lauren came in with food. She got all happy. Making me question tf Stacy been doing. I'm protective yall. "Thanks" I said for me and sofie. "No problem. I'm going to go, and I'll see you tomorrow." She said. "Uh no you gonn see me tonight. " I Demanded. When she turned around and shot me that glare I quickly looked down. "Alright see you tomorrow." I said. She smiled and left. "She's a bitch. She ain't your type." Stacy said eating one of my nuggets. "And you are? No. You just have sofie." I shot back. Sofie covered her ears like nope. "I'm not about to argue with you. Just know when I get out and get a job I'm taking sofie." I told her. "Shit you can't take it if I give it to you trust me." She winked picked sofie and left. Sofie was wild with this tantrum of leaving with her mom. I listened until I hear her anymore. I went slick to sleep. I hate hospitals.
Lauren's P.O.V
I was getting ready. I didnt wanna seem unnormal, so I dressed cute as always. I walked downstairs to say hi to the boys. Big rob was my favorite. He was the biggest one. But he was a teddy bear toward me. I put my customized pistol in my purse and walked out and they asses just walk out with me. Taylor gets in the car with me. "Are you scared? I am." She asked. "Taylor I brought my friend and my niggas. I'm not scared." I said unbothered. We pulled up to the park. And I see the one and only Aaron. I kinda knew in my mind this was who it was anyways we walked toward him. Daddy literally had the whole place surrounding. I could spot on of his cars from a mile away. "Could have sworn I said come alone." Aaron said already mad. "Yeah you did, but what do you want?" I asked impatiently. "Just wanted to tell you I missed you and I wanted to take you out as a friend. And I'm sorry" he said while I looked down at my feet. "We ain't hanging out with you at all." Taylor said. Taking the words out my mouth. "I'm not asking you to, only Lauren." He said rudely. "I'm saying no also. Bye. Don't contact me anymore. Please and thank you." I said as nice as I could. My daddy taught me to never show fear. Never show pain either. "Come on Lauren you still love me. Don't do this." He said. I just backed away. I was also taught to never turn my back on the enemy. I had street smart and book smart. When we got back to the car, we got in the car and left. When I got home chase texted me.

I got his food, me an Taylor took it to him since my dad said I couldn't leave alone. Big rob came. He and Taylor stood outside the door while I went and brought his food. When I came in he smiled so cutely. "I knew you loved me." He said tryna be slick. "Or I just don't want you starving." I said. "Why don't you just stay the night with me?" "Bc big rob and Taylor are outside. I can't go anywhere alone bc of Aaron." "What happened. And did you get me a fork?" "Uh he wanted to meet and we met and he apologized and wants me back and yeah." I locked the door, and here this nigga starts. "You wanna be my spoon huh? I knew you was a freak." "No nigga shut up. I got this big ass purse and I'm going to have to clean it out to find your spoon." And with that he was quiet. I pulled out my gun, personals, lip gloss, brush, outfit, underwear, a bra, and a hoodie. "Got enough?" He said smiling. "Shut the fuck up here." I gave him the spoon. He just smiled at me while eating. "Nigga-" "my bad my bad." He said laughing. "Alright I'm going. I'll see you tomorrow when I go get your make up work from school." He's a senior, so he needs to graduate. "Alright that lil- I mean Lauren" he laughed.
