We've been sitting on the bleachers watching both teams be determined to win. They're now in the third quarter and we're up by 7. The defense has to stay fired up to keep the other team from scoring to stay in the lead. It'll be the perfect way to start the season if the boy's school wins.

"Come on Gators!" Skylar yells as the ball snaps and the gators' defense stops the other team from making it to first down. I can't tell if she's hype just to see Justin finally return to the field after the defense does their job, or if she's actually into the game.

I glance around, feeling like someone is watching me. There are so many people here that there are bound to be people staring, judging, or just searching for someone. This feeling of the watch is different. It's like they know who I am, and it's making my stomach be in knots.

"I'll be right back, I'm going to go to the restroom," I tell Skylar.

"Bring me back nachos and a drink."

I stand up from the bleachers and begin weaving through the crowd, looking over my shoulders to see if someone stands out to me. I didn't recognize anyone. I walk towards the concession stands, which lead to the parking lot and the restrooms. My heart starts racing, as I begin to feel like I'm being followed. I speed walk and weave through the crowd trying to get to my destination.

I'm probably just making myself paranoid and there's no one following me, I need to relax. I walk towards the girls' restroom, thankful that it's empty. I turn on the water and wet a paper towel to cool off my neck. What has this man done to me? Driving me crazy. Making my body anxious and my mind wild. I'm so afraid that this one detail I overheard put me as a target. Ian probably knows I heard them, and now has eyes on me to make sure I don't tell a soul.

"Agh!" My body crashes into something hard as I walk out of the bathroom.

"Well, hello beautiful."

I rub my temple, looking up to see the man I had one date with. What is he doing at a college game? "Nicholas is it?"

"You remember my name but don't return my messages."

My eyes watch him cross his arms over his chest, they are nothing compared to Ian's. "I've been busy." Never planned to contact Nicholas, nothing about him makes me crave his existence to be in my life. "Why are you here?"

"Someone I know goes to this school," He looks behind me, his facial expression changes quickly. "I'll talk to you later, beautiful." Before I could say a word, he started walking away. I look behind me, searching for whoever affected his behavior but nothing catches my eye besides someone wearing all black with their hood up.

I shake my head and start walking to a random food stand, debating on what item I should get. I feel like a door open and just let things crash into my life to cause me to go crazy. Nothing makes sense, and I need to order a book to tell me all the answers I need.

"Nachos with lemonade, please," I say to the lady while pulling out my wallet, glancing to my right just to see the person in black looking over at me while on their phone.

"Here you go."

"Thank you," I smile at her while handing over the money.

A twisted feeling fills the pit of my stomach, causing me to question if I should even attempt to eat or not. The only thing I am sure of is that I'm so ready for this game to be over.

"You guys destroyed them!" Skylar wraps her arms around Justin's neck as we walk out to the parking lot.

"Why are you guys here? Aren't you supposed to celebrate with your team?" Cole looks over at them.

I catch Max glaring at Justin, before taking notice of what Cole asked. "Rather celebrate with friends, like we always do."

"Okay, well where are we meeting at?" Cole fishes for his keys out of his jeans, and Alice and Lexi follow him to his ride.

"How about a pizza joint?" I look among the group.

Justin goes on his phone, "There's one not far from here. I'll send the address in the group chat." All our phones go off.

"Okay, see you all there," Cole tells him.

We all went to our designated vehicles but before I could get to Skylar's ride, my vision went black and pressure against my lips keeps me from screaming.
