I recommend you to listen to "All I Want by Kodaline" while reading this short story. Hope you enjoy! <3

George waves goodbye to sapnap as he sees him fade into the crowd. Tina, Karl, Quackity and Sapnap have gone home. George was really excited about what was to come. He would soon be able to visit Dream and reunite with all of his friends again, but at the moment, he felt empty again. He enters his house and lets out a breath of disappointment. He goes up the stairs and jumps on the bed without even thinking of removing his shoes. George just stared at the empty blank white ceiling. He didn't even notice there was a crack on it until now. Did he miss his friends that much? He goes to his phone which he takes from his bag and goes to check if his friends have messaged him. None of them did. This went on for hours and hours.

It was now night time and George felt hungry. He realized how much time he spent waiting for texts on his phone. He goes to the kitchen to get some food and spots something under the floor cabinet. It was a tiny smelly piece of the carrot that sapnap sliced on stream. George picked it up from the floor and stared at it for a good 10 minutes. "What am I doing??" George says as he throws the carrot in the trash bin. He turns around and gets his food and walks back to his bedroom. Right as he was about to leave the kitchen, he sees his birthday banner reflection in the mirror. He turns back and reminisces all that happy memories. The first time Sapnap arrived and you tried to make him delicious food but failed, the milkshake stream with Quackity and Sapnap, the cooking stream with Sapnap, the time you came down from the bedroom to the kitchen and saw Karl and Tina throwing flour at each other, flour scattered all around the floor and kitchen tops. George's eyes started tearing up. "What the hell is wrong with me??" George says to himself as he wipes the very few tears he had in his eyes. George goes back upstairs forgetting to bring along with him his food and sits on the couch staring at his stream setup. A lot of thoughts occurred in George's head. "What would've happened if I didn't stream? Would I have met sapnap and dream in a different way or..." George got stuck, contemplating all the possible scenarios that could've happened if he didn't live his life as a streamer. While George was thinking of the 100th or 200th possible scenario, his phone vibrated and George immediately opened the notification. "Hey, buddy! Our plane just landed safe and sound. The person at the back of my seat was so annoying, it was like Ludacris or something. How are you?" George's eyes started tearing up with excitement as he read Sapnap's message. He has never really expressed his love (platonic) to anyone. He started typing back as fast as he could.

"I'm doing great without u 🙄". He replied. A few seconds later Sapnap replies "Don't get ur hopes up, you'll be begging to see my handsome face before u know it". George rolled his eyes and scoffed as he read that message. George and Sapnap went on chatting for hours. While George was typing, sapnap called him. Hello? Sapnap asked. Hello! Why did u call? George replied. It's easier to be on a call than to text the whole time, Sapnap replied. No. You just miss my mesmerizing voice, George replied smirking at the floor. Sure. Dream does too, sapnap replies while laughing. You're such an idiot. George replies. This call went on for forever. In between nights of sleep, showers, breakfast, lunch, dinner, EVERYTHING. George felt so lucky to have friends like this. Friends who flew all across from the US to UK to comfort him in trying times. He loved them so much.

Sapnap, George said. Yes? Sapnap asked. Thank you. George replied as he closes his eyes preparing for the next day.
