Planning for a coronation was pure chaos. I'd like to think it was sort of like how humans planned a wedding. Except, my grandpa was going to give the throne to Dad and Mom.

After Grandpa made that announcement, everyone congratulated Dad and Mom. I think I screamed a little, hugging my parents tightly then Grandpa out of pure joy of the news.

"I get to pick what everyone is wearing!" I called out, and everyone at the table agreed with me. Party planning was right up my ally. I hoped keeping busy would help me feel...better. And out of the funk that I have been feeling.

Dad's travels have been all for the succession planning when he was going to be King. They've known this for a while. Dad was going to be King and Mom Queen. I couldn't wrap my head around that fact.

They kicked out the kids- me, Erico, West and Wyatt- so they could talk about some private stuff. Like anyone wanted to hear political stuff. It was a bore.

Before we got kicked out, I could only stare at my parents who were listening to Uncle Lance and Aunt Ava. Dad's gaze rested on Mom's quite a bit, and I had to turn around not to stare too hard.

King and Queen.

We opted to watch a movie at the theater- me keeping my distance from West.

"Both of you guys are so stubborn," Wyatt muttered to us as West and I took opposite seating. "Why can't you just apologize, West?"

I gave a grumpy hmph, and crossed my arms. Trying not to feel victory because I wasn't being dramatic- West said a very uncalled for thing and hurt my feelings.

"Fine. Freya, I am so sorry please forgive me," West said in the most not genuine way possible. I clenched my jaw.

There was a tense silence before I said, "Are we going to start the movie or what? I prefer a romantic comedy." I needed to watch something lighthearted.

No one disagreed with me and put Stupid, Crazy, Love.

It was a while that the adults were talking amongst each other, and by the time the movie ended, we were all half asleep. West and Wyatt left late with their parents, and I thought it was best if I could just sleep in the theater room.

"Freya, wake up," Mom gently shook me. Trying to get me to wake up. The seats at the theater were so comfortable honestly, I didn't want to. She almost carried me to my room with Dad's help.

Mom nor Dad were in that late morning. Food was already prepared for Erico and I, but we waited until either of them came downstairs to eat with us.

Erico shrugged, "Maybe they're tired."

"Have you seen Mom and Dad recently? Both are such workaholics. Could never be me," I said.

One guard entered the kitchen to announce that Mom and Dad were taking a day to themselves. "Your father told me, and I quote, 'If it's an emergency, get your grandfather'."
