Chapter 8

A few days went by, no one was really happy, most of the people forced a smile. Me and Tanjiro still had to recover. While Zenistu and Inosuke were with Tanjiro, Nezuko was with me, she refused to leave.

We were gonna stay here at the mansion since we needed to get out strength back more and anything.

It was night time about now, I was sitting on the bed, reading the book I borrowed from Shinobu.

Nezuko was sleeping on another bed.

*Knock* *Knock*

"Come on!" I said, placing my book down. I saw Tanjiro slowly open the door, "mhm?, oh Tanjiro!, hey" My face lit up wit a smile, so did his.

He slowly closed the door behind him and walked inside, "I see Nezuko is still sleeping soundly?". I nodded my head.

"Tanjiro, why are you here?, you should be in bed, resting" I said, looking at him.

"I know, I know, but I wanted so see you since... um..." his face turned red.

How should I not love this man?. "Yes, I missed you too Tanjiro". "How did you know?" he asked with confusion.

"Just a guess" I smiled. He sat down next to me. "Whatca reading?" he asked, Looking at my book, "Oh!, its a book Shinobu let me borrow!" I said, before showing him the book.

"Its a book ab-" Before I could continue talking, he wrapped his arms around me, making me drop the book.

"I love you Y/n" he said.

Boy, you are making my heart explode, and turning my face into a literal tomato. I chuckled before hugging him back "I love you too".

He placed his lips against mine. To my surprise, he tasted like sweet cherry this time. We kissed a few more times before breaking apart and lied down, My back facing his chest.

Our lives are still ahead of us, with a lot of fighting, for now, lets just enjoy this moment while is lasts.
