After discovering the body of their dead friend the boys hurry to see if anyone else is hurt or worse. As they got back to the group's original departure spot the boys saw their other friends Lost and Fatima there already. The two girls ran to the three of them clinging onto them like they had seen a ghost. The five of them all started talking at once asking if each other were ok and if they had heard a scream.
Lost was getting worried as none of the boys looked at her when she asked about the scream. Again she asked them about the scream or if they had seen Mari anywhere around. At the sound of her name Rene started to cry silently but Fatima noticed right away. She pulled him back around and seeing his face Fatima then knew the answer to Lost's question sending her emotions into a tailspin. Lost getting more upset now that she sees Fatima and Rene crying again she pleads with Mayo asking him again slowly with tears filling her eyes "Mayo, please tell me that you know where Mari is" Daii suddenly yells out. Confirming the worst he says that Mari was killed, Daii explained what had just happened to them in the haunted house and where they saw Mari's body.
Lost almost faints as she hears the news about her friend, Mayo catches her before she falls to the ground. As the group was coming to terms with the news of the dead friend the rest of the Nerv members were still exploring the park.
(Rebel,Tsu,Plagued)
Across the park the other group which consisted of Rebel, Tsu, and Plagued were finding their way through a maze which was supposed to lead to the Rollercoaster according to the old park map that Tsu noticed on the way in. "If the park was still running I would have loved to go on this ride", all three of them nod their heads in agreement. As the group got closer to the ride Tsu stopped and pointed to something not too far in the distance.
The other two beside her looked in the direction of where she was pointing and saw that she had spotted the Ferris Wheel. Tsu was getting excited more than ever when she discovered the ride which was her favorite in all theme parks. So because of their friend's obvious excitement and the fact that she was already far ahead of them the group decided to take a detour from the rollercoaster to the ferris wheel instead.
"Tsu, if you don't slow down we are gonna lose you. It's dark out here you know, Tsu are you still there?" As the night got darker and the sight of the friend became harder to see, soon the sight of their friend was lost in the night.
(MJ, Dassa, and Void)
Back across to the front end of the park the last of the Nerv members were still finding their way through the first couple of rides until they came upon a few old gaming stations. "Look, this booth has those water gun games' ' Dassa still seems to be exploring the world even after 17 years of being alive. Void and Mj both roll their eyes and laugh at the same time when they realize that they both had done the same actions. Void decides to jump behind the booth and look at the stuff that was left behind.
While looking around at the other booths MJ sees a figure in the distance. It was dark so she thought it must have been a stray animal in the dark. She tells the others that she wants to check something out not knowing if they actually heard her. Walking more out of sight toward where she saw the strange figure, her surroundings getting darker and darker the closer she got. She could hear her friends calling her back when all of a sudden a loud scream was heard, unaware to them that this was the second scream of the night.
(Third person POV)
As the scream was heard throughout the whole park everyone came running. All Nerv members gathered together for a series of unfortunate events that were continuing to unfold in Hades's Playground. With everyone gathered around the fresh body that was lying on the ground with blood spooling from its head, the look of shock came over everyone. Kokayne came forward and turned over the body to see who it was. The face was severely smashed in but still all could see that this was their friend Tsu.
Coming from the back stairs to the ferris wheel ride was Rebel and Plagued who were with Tsu at the time of her death. All the members looked at them as they made their way to the body to see their friend who was now lifeless on the ground facing up toward the ride that she had always favored. Questions were soon getting thrown at the two girls, everyone wondering how this happened. Soon the last of the group, the unofficial leader of Nerv, Azazel shows up and the shook look on his face appeared just like the others.
He tells everyone to calm down and to give the two girls space so they can say what happened. He walked up to them and asked what had happened to Tsu, both girls were still in shock with their words coming out as jumbles instead of actual words. Once everyone had calmed down a couple of them were kneeling down next to the body crying over the dead friend. Dassa had scanned the area around them and noticed that another one of their group members was missing. "Hey Lost where's Mari I thought she was with you and Fatima" once she said this everyone else too started to wonder. Again Lost breaks down knowing the news she was about to share were as horrific as the incident that had just happened.
Mayo had spoken for Lost and Fatima who were both now holding one another. "We just came from the haunted house on the other side of the park no to far from here and.." he paused in the middle, stifling tears that kept wanting to come out. "Rene, he found her hanging from the ceiling with her neck cut" as the words came out the look of horror and disgust came over the group like a tidal wave.
"What happened, who killed them and why now, why here?" Dassa asked, starting to get hysterical but who wouldn't be right. What would anyone do if their friends were getting murdered out of nowhere. It was past midnight at this point and half of the group had decided to gather the bodies of Mari and Tsu and bury them at the front of the park. It was pitch black at this point so everyone was using the light on the phones to light their way back to the entrance of the park.
Walking close to one another a couple of them carrying the bodies of their once alive friends. Plagued looked around at their friends and noticed two of them were not there and just as she was about to say something a sound was heard from behind which halted the group in their place. Soon another scream was heard and everyone had turned their heads in the direction heard and saw MJ being dragged away into the dark. Void grabbed her hand but also got pulled along with her. Everything happened so fast that no one else had time to react. Now the group was alert to the unknown danger that had seemed to find them and knew that this park was indeed Hades's Playground and if they wanted to survive they needed to find out who was killing their friends before one of them was next.
