Chapter Eight

Gulf woke the next morning feeling pain all over.

He looked around and saw Mew sleeping uncomfortably on the sofa.

The door of his room opened and a nurse came in. She saw him awake and said with a smile

"Sir you are finally awake" she said

"How long was I unconscious?" He ask

"Two days sir. Your husband waited by your side. "Oh do you need anything?"

"Water please" Gulf answered as the nurse poured a glass of water and passes it to him. Be drank it quenching his thirst. "Thank you"

She nods and said "I'll get the doctor to come and check on you soon sir"she said and wrote something on the clipboard and went out of the room.

Mew woke up with a jolt felt his neck cramping. His vision was blurry and thought he saw Gulf smiling at him.

"I must be too sleepy" he said rubbing his eyes with the palm of his hand.

"I'm awake you big panda" Gulf said as he couldn't help but chuckle at Mew's antic.

Mew's got up too quick and almost tripped and fell as he got himself balanced and went to sit beside Gulf.

"You're awake. Are you okay? Any pain? Wait let me call the nurse. Are you thirsty? Hungry?"

Gulf couldn't help but laugh at his husband "The nurse just left. She said she will call the doctor to check on me. She gave me a glass of water earlier. I am hungry and I'm sure you are hungry too, love"

Mew hugged Gulf and younger let out an small "ouch"

"Sorry...does it hurt?" Mew ask

"I'm alright Mew. No need to worry. Go and buy us food. Your baby is hungry"

Mew kisses Gulf's forehead and said "I'll be right back. Don't move so much na Tua-eng" as he left the room and headed to the hospital cafe.

Gulf shook his head and couldn't help but laugh at Mew's antic.

When Mew came back he was holding plastic bags of food and fruits.

Placing them on the table Gulf was overwhelmed. He realized Mew went too spend too much.

"Mew the food are too much for us"

"I know but I'm sure you are hungry" he cut the apple and gave it to Gulf "Eat fruits first Tua-eng"

Gulf ate it, and watch as Mew set the food and drinks for them both.

'This man" Gulf thought.

"Mew" Gulf called him and the man turned his gaze to Gulf who smiled and he came closer and closer and Gulf hugged him "Thank you"

Mew smiled and answered back "Thank you as well" he kisses Gulf and smiled.

"I love you my handsome husband"

"I love you too my adorable husband"

They fed each other the food and Mew cleaned up soon after.

In the afternoon while Mew and Gulf were laying on the hospital bed, the twins came in the room and saw their parents.

"Mama, dad "they said and they hugged their parents.

"Are you okay now mama?"

"Did the doctor say when you can go home?"

"The doctor said my vitals are fine and tomorrow I can go home. I'm sure your sibling will be happy to go home as well"

"We are so glad you're alright mama" Natasha said hugging Gulf
