Sick - Sokeefe

Sophie

(I finally have some inspiration! :) and yes I know the pic is not whats happening in the oneshot ut it's still sokeefe)

Sophie had just got to Havenfield when her imparter started vibrating, she picked it up and saw that Keefe was hailing her.

She answered it, loving how her boyfriend always hailed her at least three times a day, whether it was to get feedback on a drawing or painting of his, to ask her about something, or to just want to talk to her.

"Hey, Keefe whatcha do-...Ummm hey Ro where's Keefe?" Sophie asked confused about why Ro was on Keefe's imparter.

"Hey Blondie Keefe's sick and as much as I love having Hunkyhair miserable right now he just sounds pitiful, so could you come over cus I do not feel like playing Funkyhair's nurse right now...or ever." Ro said obviously not feeling like being "Auntie Ro" right now.

"Oh no is he okay, actually no ones "ok" when they're sick so never mind. But yeah I'll be over in like five minutes...Bye.!." Sophie said worried about Keefe since elves rarely got sick. She texted Edaline (Thanks to Dex who had put texting on the gang's imparters) "I'm going over to Keefe's house. Just wanted to let ya know"

(Time skip)

Sophie arrived at the Shores of Solace (or the Waves of Wimpiness as Ro had dubbed it) rushing past Lord Cassius not bothering to talk to him. She jogged over to Keefe's room and walked in...where she heard retching sounds over in the bathroom.

She called through the door "Keefe I'm coming in". Which she did and saw her boyfriend leaning near the toilet which had...well she looked away quickly, she may love her boyfriend but that does not mean she has to love what his throw up looks like. Keefe looked up at her looking miserable and said "Hey Sophie, you didn't have to come I'm fine an-" Keefe was cut off by needing to lean back over the toilet, having to vomit again. "Ok maybe I'm not fine" The sick boy muttered weakly after he recovered from his throwing up episode.

"Aw baby let's get you into bed" Sophie said feeling horrible that Keefe had to go through this. She found him some comfy clothes and let him change in the bathroom (after she cleaned it up of course), and half-carried him to his bed which she tried to make as comfy as possible, which meant fluffy blankets and soft pillows and of course Mrs. Stinkbottom. Once he was in bed Sophie asked "How're feeling?" to which he answered, smiling sleepily, "Better now that you're here".

"Hey get some rest I'll be right here when you wake up" The blond-haired girl said, softly sitting on the sick boys bed, starting to play with his hair.

"Ok, thanks for taking care of me Sophie,... I love you" Keefe said so softly and sweetly his voice just made Sophie smile. "Of course Keefe and... I love you too, never forget that. Now rest up babe" The brown-eyed girl said smiling, and not just because Keefe told her he loved her (though that helped), it was because even though Keefe was feeling horrible because he's sick and he may still feel horrible Keefe is rarely this quiet and peaceful, only when he's painting or when he's reading Percy Jackson or Harry Potter (she had convinced Mr. Forkle to somehow get versions of the books in the Enlighted Language and Keefe was totally a fanboy) (you can't convince me that Keefe wouldn't be a fanboy).

Sophie started to play with her boyfriend's hair, which was usually off-limits even though she knew he loved when she ran her hands through his hair when he began to start thrashing and mumble in his sleep.

"Sophie....no....what are you doing to her....help....wake up, foster....!" the sleeping boy mumbled in his slumber obviously having a nightmare.

Sophie being the worried girlfriend she is used her telepathy to go into his mind to try and calm him down. And what she saw...well let's just say it was enough to wake the boy who didn't deserve the nightmares all of her friends (including her) still had even though the Neverseen were defeated. (cringe)

(The nightmare)

"Well, the Moonlark may not be as great with almost dying as everyone thought" Lady Gisela said placing a gadget on Sophie's head. "The Moonlark will be no more after tonight" she said grinning like a madwoman (which she was).

"KEEFE GET OUT OF HERE!!!" the said Moonlarkshouted not wanting the boy she loved the most to see her get hurt. (even more cringe)

"No, I'm never leaving you, Foster!" that same boy shouted back

Lady Gisela turned the device on and Sophie started to twitch, then to shake, and when she seemed to stop she was full-on thrashing (trembling, twitching, whatever you wanted to call it). Until she stopped...just completely stopped, it didn't even look like she was even breathing (which scared Keefe to his core).

"foster...Foster...FOSTER!!! What are you doing to her!?" Keefe shouted his worry about his girlfriend spiking more and more.

"As I said after tonight the Moonlark will be no more or should I say she's already no more, her breathing should stop in a minute so say your final goodbyes my son, and trust me I'm doing this all for you...for your legacy." Keefe's (sorry excuse for a) mother said not even caring that her son's whole body was trembling with tears.

Keefe ran up to his girlfriend's body shaking her body, hoping that his mother's device had failed and that Sophie was just sleeping.

"Someone help! Come on Foster wake up, I need you...team foster-keefe forever remember?" the broken-hearted boy said though his subconscious know that the hope to save her was long gone.

(Nightmare ends)

"Hey Keefe wake up" Sophie said trying to wake her boyfriend since he was still having his nightmare

He finally wakes up startled, looking around frantically, his eyes finally settling on Sophie, to which then he pulled her into a hug.

"It was so bad Sophie...my mom forced me to watch as she killed you and..and-" the trembling boy said on the verge of bursting into tears.

"hey..hey..shhh...shhh...i saw it's ok though I'm here and I'm safe and so are you, ok?" Sophie said, comforting the boy, hugging him tightly so that it wouldn't hurt but he knew she was there for him.

"o-o-ok" Keefe stuttered, returning the fierce hug his girlfriend was giving him.

When Keefe calmed down Sophie suggested that they watch a movie on her laptop that she got from Dex (who made it solar powered just like her iPod), which they both agreed to. They turned the movie on when they were cuddled in Keefe's bed. Halfway through the movie, Sophie looked to Keefe, who was so relaxed and content watching the movie, and placed a kiss on his cheek (even though it probably wasn't that safe considering Keefe was...ya know...sick). Keefe looked back at her and kissed her on the cheek. And at some time in the movie Keefe's head landed on Sophie's shoulder and not long after Sophie's head landed on top of Keefe's, and they slept soundly after that, neither of them having any nightmares.
