Muichirou's POV
Just finished my mission and is on the way back to my estate. A while after I heard something. The sound of rocks being thrown into the water or at least at the lake nearby. I don't really mind it in the first place and about to continue walking but then I heard more rocks being thrown. I was curious so I go and check it out.

A demon.

A demon in pink kimono with a long black hair.

I was about to pull out my sword but then the demon turn around and look at me. She stared at me with her pink coloured eyes while bitting a white carrot. 'I thought demons eat humans? Then why is this one eating a vegetable? It doesn't matter. I still have to kill her anyway,' I thought to myself.

As I come closer, the demon stand up and still stare at me. "Are you gonna attack me?" I asked her. She then shake her head. I didn't trust her. It could be a trap. "Why not?" I asked her again. She just looked at me with a confused face. I didn't waste any time. I walk up to her and as I was about to attack her, she pat my head and said "Hhm, hhm!".

"..."

I have so many questions. Like, why didn't she attack me? Why is she bitting a vegetable? Aren't demons are cannibals? They eat humans so. Is she different from other demons? She's not like them? Is she....a good demon? No, that can't be. Demons are bad. Should I...trust her? I don't think so. But,...can I?

There are no answers for all of the questions.

She's kinda pretty and look too innocent for a demon. She's look harmless. I'm not sure if I should trust her. My brain says don't but my heart, my body and the voice inside me says I can and should. I don't know which side to follow.

Anyway, should I report this to the master? But I'm a hashira. And a hashira's job is to kill demons just like the normal demon slayers. They would either think that I am joking or I just spared a demon as a demon slayer, as a hashira. I would probably get in trouble.

After that I saw a small folded paper at the rope looking thing at her kimono. I took  and unfold it. There written 'To whoever that found her. Please take care of her. Even though she's a demon. She's still my sister. So please'. That's what the note says. I guess it was someone's wish. Looks like I can't run away from this. I can't tell and let the others know about this cause if they do, I'll be dead. So I'm just gonna keep her at my estate.

Later

I close the door and went inside with the demon. We sit down and I gave her a paper and a pencil. She look at me confused. I told her to write her name on it and she wrote 'Nezuko'. 'Nezuko? What a beautiful name,' I thought to myself.

"Alright, Nezuko. How about we go to sleep. It's still night," I said. A nod from her. "But before that, why are you bitting a vegetable?" I asked. "Can I take it off?". Just as I was about to take it, Nezuko shake her head. "Why not?" I questioned. She just shake her head. "If you don't want to then fine. I won't force you,". Nezuko then nod.

The next day,

I woke up and sees Nezuko is still sleeping next to me. Wait- I..... remember her name? How? I can never remember others' name but Nezuko? This is so weird.

A few moments later, Nezuko is finally awake. "Oh. Good morning, Nezuko," I said. "Hmm! Hhm!" She said. I chuckled. "Alright. There will be a hashira meeting later at 10. I gotta go change and eat breakfast. You want anything?" Nezuko shakes her head. "If so." I replied.

Time skip to 9:45a.m

"Hey Nezuko," I called her. She turned around and look at me. "I'm gonna go to the meeting now. You have to stay here. If there's anyone outside this house or coming inside, please hide from them. Doesn't matter who they are, understood?" I ask her. She just nodded. "See you later. Also we can hangout tonight if I don't have a mission alright? Bye!". And just that I left.
