"Daddy, who is that lady next to you?" A young, (h/c) girl asked. The man she had been talking to surveyed around, in order to see who the girl was talking about. However, they were the only two in the room.

"Nobody else is here child," the man stated, slightly annoyed.

"But there is a person next to you , daddy. Her hair and eyes are the same as mine. She's very pretty," The young girl babbled. Unbeknownst to her, the man tensed up at her description. Raising his eyebrow, he took a step closer to the girl. Just then, a blonde man entered the room.

What the hell is he doing here? The young girl heard her father's voice, but his mouth did not move. The blonde man gestured his head for the girl's father to leave, which he reluctantly did. Once her father was out of the room, the girl looked up to the blonde man, whose face was unclear and smiled. The man returned her smile before gently kneeling down in front of her.

"Did you bring me something?" The girl asked curiously. The man's smile brightened as he pulled a smile box from his pocket. The girl excitedly took the box from the man and began to open it. Within the box, there was a bracelet. It was mostly made of twine, but there was a small pendant with a small flower.

"It's a cherry blossom. Many people associate it with happiness," the man stated. The girl's eyes grew wide as she put the bracelet on her wrist. She then quickly jumped into the man's arms for a hug.

The blonde man chuckled as he held her. "Happy Birthday, (Y/N)."

SPLASH

A cold feeling quickly woke (Y/N) from her dream. Disoriented, she sat up quickly. As the initial shock began to wear off, she remembered her dream from the night before. She remembered her fifth birthday. That was the day that her abilities first manifested and the last time she had seen that blonde man. She couldn't remember his face, but he would always come on her birthdays and holidays.

(Y/N) was lost reminiscing, when she noticed three things. Firstly, she had not woken up in the forest, as she usually had. She realized that she was in some kind of room. The second thing she noticed was her soaking wet clothes. And third, there were chains on her wrist which were most likely placed there to keep her from escaping. She groaned as she flopped back into bed, closing her eyes.

"Don't you go back to sleep or else I'll have to splash you again." A voice came from the side of the bed. (Y/N)'s eyes snapped open to see a man standing next to the bed. He was tall and had blond hair that was pulled into a ponytail. She rolled her eyes before rolling over so her back was to him, which she learned was a mistake. Before she knew it, more water had been poured on her.

"What's your problem man!" She shouted, turning to face the man once again.

"Like I said, don't go back to sleep. Petra and Oluo are dropping by and they wanted to say hello." (Y/N) narrowed her eyes at the man.

"You say that like I am supposed to know who those people are," she replied snarkly. The man looked slightly surprised and went to respond, but then the door opened. (Y/N) recognized the two newcomers as the two of the people who chased her. They made their way to the opposite side of the bed the blonde man was at.

"Oh, I assume that you two are the ones ponytail was talking about," (Y/N) stated, shoving her thumb back in the blonde man's direction.

"Actually, my name is Eld Jinn. And this is Petra Ral and Oluo Bozado," Ponytail, or Eld, said.

"Potato Potahto," (Y/N) clapped back before continuing. "Is there something I can help you with, or did you all just come to be friendly? All three of them looked at one another, unsure of what to say. Petra was the one to speak up.

"You could by giving us some information." (Y/N) just scoffed while staring at the wall in front of her. Petra let out a nervous laugh. "Come on honey," (Y/N) scowled at the nickname she had just been called, "We just want to help you. You have managed to get yourself into some serious trouble." The (e/c) girl just rolled her eyes. That's when Oluo spoke up.

"Now listen here you ungrateful brat. We saved you from a very scary and painful death out there. And now we are trying to save you again. You should be grateful for us and our efforts." (Y/N) turned her head to glare at Oluo, which caused him to glare back. The two could have kept at it all day if Petra hadn't stepped in. She smiled down at the girl before telling Oluo off for yelling.

Why can't I just leave? I don't want to be here.

It was true. Everyone had their own hell and inside these walls was hers. She must have gotten lost in thought because she hadn't noticed Eld trying to get her attention until he tapped her shoulder, which made her jump.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to let you know that Captain Levi and Commander Erwin will be coming in shortly to ask you some questions." (Y/N) just gave him a blank stare before nodding her head slowly. The four sat in a few more moments of silence before a knock on the door was heard. When it opened, it revealed a taller blonde man and the short guy who caught (Y/N) in the woods. The girl shot daggers in his direction as he entered the room. The other three who were in the room stood to salute him.

Oluo saw (Y/N) out of the corner of his eyes and the yelling began again. "Have you no respect, young lady. These are two very important people that you should be saluting. And can you quit glaring at the captain. So disrespectful." When Levi looked to see that what Oluo had said was true. The (h/c) girl was indeed glaring at him, but he chose to ignore it.

The tall blonde began to speak. "Oluo, it's ok. This girl has been living outside of the walls for who knows how long. We can't expect her to understand the way we do things." Oluo's cheeks blushed a pink blush, showing that he was embarrassed.

Smugly, (Y/N) turned to look at Oluo before smirking. "I would salute if these chains weren't on my wrist." This pushed the right buttons in Oluo.

"You cocky little brat. You have no respect for anyone do you?" Oluo tried to lunge at (Y/N), however Petra blocked his path. He still continued to try and Levi motioned for Petra and Eld to take Oluo out of the room. The tall blond waited for them to leave the room, before turning back to the girl.

"Hello there. My name is Erwin Smith and this is Levi Ackerman, whom you have already met. We would just like to ask you some questions," Erwin said.

(Y/N) scoffed before responding, "It's not like I'll be going anywhere anytime soon." she gestured to her hands, showing the chains. Levi walked over to her with a key and undid the chains. (Y/N) looked at him suspiciously before slowly folding her arms and looking at the men. She did not want to answer any questions, but she didn't really have much of a choice.

"What if I don't want to answer your questions? What happens then?" I asked The two men looked at one another before they turned back to her

"You are being faced with some serious crimes. You were found outside of the walls, which is illegal unless you are part of the scout regime. Answer our questions and we may just be able to help you," said Erwin. Both of the men were staring at (Y/N). And she began to feel uncomfortable under their gaze. She began to fidget with the bracelet on her wrist. Looking down at it, she took a deep breath before looking back at the men.

"I'll answer your questions, on one condition. I want Captain Tiny here gone. I won't give you any answers with him in the room." Levi went to argue, but Erwin put his hand in front of Levi. The two men looked at each other before Levi turned and left the room. Erwin turned his attention back to (Y/N).

He gave her a small smile before continuing, "I know that it must have been hard for you out on your own. Not many people are able to pull that off. Color me impressed, young lady." (Y/N) knew right away what he was trying to do. He was trying to give her a false sense of security.

Lucky for her, she saw right through the act. She had not been born yesterday and sure as hell was going to fall for this stupid little trick. She knew the good cop, bad cop act from her life before she was outside the walls. This was a typical good cop. He must have known that the girl had caught on, because his presence completely changed.

"Well then, I guess we should get to the questions then?" He looked at her waiting for an answer.

"Sure... What do you want to know"

"Everything
