I stare with shock on my face. "OMG Jess, Liam it's great to see you!"  I try to form words but I can't pure shock runs through my veins. "Alex, omg yes your our new neighbor" He smiles so bright. Pure pain fills my heart but I need to keep smiling. "Alex, I didn't know you were my neighbor, it's great!" Liam nudges me. Alex let's us in.  We're talking about her school in Queensland and laughed about how stupid it is that guys could be smoking and the teacher wouldn't care but you would get a lunchtime detention if you had the wrong socks. (This actually happens)

Dinner was delicious we had some snags. Delicious a classic aussie dish. (I usually get peed off when people do aussie cliche's but I am aussie so I have an exception 😋 is it just me but is 'body' such a good song) We spent so much time there. Liam was smiling so much.

We end up sneaking away and he asks "do you want to go cliff jumping?". I say no because the thought of cliff jumping accidents haunt me. But Alex agrees so we walk to the cliff and I watch them jump into the bottomless pit of the inky black ocean.

They don't come up so I freak out and I stand at the edge of the cliff. Then I feel four hands on my back.

splash!

I taste the water filling my lungs and choking me.
I hear muffled voices from above.
I am blinded salt water destroying my vision.
I smell the salt water up my nose.
I feel the inky current pulling me away.
I take one breath.

Then I feel hands around my arms and then I am on the beach. Spewing up water. And then I hear a sobbing voice apologising I realise it is Alex. Then I see  Liam comforting her. he doesn't even look at me. I nearly died because of him and he doesn't fricking care. I stand up shake it off say "I'm fine."

I'm not fine.
