I had never gone to the cave of the Oracle. The only time I saw our Oracle, Rachel Elizabeth Dare, she was in the big house. When I went to her to ask for a prophecy, my hands were all sweaty. I was nervous and worried. What trials would I have to face to repent for my actions? How could I save my mother? These were the questions running through my mind as I went inside the cave.

The cave of the Oracle was a mix of both ancient and modern. While it had all the modern facilities for the oracle priest, it had ancient feel for all the pictures that were drawn on the walls by the oracle, Rachel Elizabeth Dare, a.k.a. RED. As I went through the pictures, I saw a particularly interesting one.

The picture was that of one man who had three eyes and four hands. He had some circle in one hand and a trident in another. The three eyes looked like it spat fire. I never saw a picture like that. It looked intimidating. I mean which mortal had three eyes and four hands?

"Oh! Justin! Why are you here?", a voice called from behind and I jumped in shock. I turn around to see Rachel. She was dressed simple but had paint all over her. She was one of those rare women who were born with a silver spoon but remained down to earth.

"I- I wanted to come here for a prophecy. A prophecy regarding how I can save my mother and... and repent for my mistakes.", I said. She suddenly had a seizure and I knew that the spirit of Delphi would speak soon. So, I carried her to her stool so that she does not fall. The green mist surround her and an ancient voice, the voice of the Oracle spoke.

" COME SEEK O SPY OF THE PIT

RETURN TO WHERE WHAT YOU SEEK SIT |

THE BROTHERS SHALL BOND OVER DEATH OF A FRIEND,

BUT WHEN DIRE, SHALL GET HELP FROM A GODSEND||

FOR THE OWL SHALL SHOW WAY THROUGH THE DARK CAVE,

AND FROM POTENTIAL DEATH SHALL THE GODSEND SAVE |||

The prophecy looked complete, for the green mist dissipated, leaving a weak Rachel on her stool. She looked drained. She looked at me and smiled. Suddenly, she held closed shut her ears as if some loud noise was making her dead. She suddenly fainted. I went to the bathroom to get some water when I heard a booming voice. A voice that was way different and older than the voice of Delphi. The voice was echoing from the walls, as if the cave itself was speaking to me. The sounds were incomprehensible, for it was of a different language, but suddenly, a bright light hung in the air and the voice spoke clearly:

THE COUPLE SHALL FACE THE HORROR AGAIN

TO AVENGE THEIR FRIEND WHO HAD BEEN SLAIN |

THE DARKNESS SHALL BE CONSUMED BY THE LIGHT

IN CONTRAST TO WHICH THE SUN IS LESS BRIGHT ||

THE ELDER SHALL HELP THE DESCENT

AND UNLEASH ALL ANGERS TO MEND AND VENT |||

The bright light dimmed and extinguished while I stood there Was that another prophecy? Who gave that prophecy? What was that voice? I first went to Rachel who was still unconscious. I sprinkled some water and she regained consciousness. She looked at me dazed.

"Rachel? Are you Okay?", I asked concerned. She nodded. I lifted her so that she could sit and gave her a glass of water from the thermos nearby.

"What happened?", she asked.

"After you passed out, another voice, a disjoint voice echoed off the walls, as if the cave itself was talking. Then a bright light hung midair and the disjoint voice spoke. Another Prophecy.", I said and she was surprised.
