Y/N POV

While I was going uphill I could hear my breath deepen. My heart was beating faster. Legs were getting heavier. Was is because of the hill or because of what was going to happen? I was so nervouss. A sweat appeared on my skin.

"Fuck. I act as an amateur. This ain't my first rodeo. Why am I being so nervouss?" I scolded myself trying to calm my breath.

This is all I need. Just few more photos and I will have everything I need for my reportage. Enough evidence for their conviction.

"Put yourself together!" I murmured. I took out my camera and tried to stop my fingers from shaking.

"If you ain't gonna calm down, then these photos will be blurred and all of this will be for nothing! You're so close. You can stop all this, just be little bit more patient." I said trying to encourage myself.

I remembered all the things I went through to get here. All the efforts, sleepless nights and no contact with my family and friends. How I changed my life for this. Was this all gonna end in vain? No, I can't let that happen.

I worked in USA for well-known magazine company, that focused mainly on mysteries and criminal articles. Thanks to my abilities I climbed pretty fast and my work has been acknowled in higher positions in company. I was good in uncovering truth and solving cases, and I knew it.

Six months ago I was moved to this company's korean branch. I was told that I was desperately needed here and I have been promised more exiciting cases with higher salary. Of course I agreed.

The first three months were pretty boring. It was more or less just me learning korean and working on some pretty basic cases such as disappearing underwear or convenience robbery.

After these three boring months was the time, when it all changed. I started to be pretty fluent in korean thanks to lot of learning and my co-worker's Aera help. When people saw me speak more or less fluently, they started opening much more to me.

That was the time, when I found out about the mafia group called Stray Kids. They apperead about year ago, but yet they managed to gain quite a lot power. They controled about 67% of Seouls underword and they weren't going to stop there.

I decided to find out who they really were and what they were up to.

And after these 3 exhausting months of never ending work, stalking, interrogations and taking photos I had almost enough evidence to give it to the police, that was too scared and helpless to do anything with them.

I laid down on the ground. The grass was still wet from the morning dew. I held the camera in my hands and tried to focus it on the scenery below me. The boss of Stray Kids was supposed to have here meeting with another gang's boss. All of the Stray Kids most important members were supposed to be here with him too. Few photos as a prove of their connection should be enough.

"Ahh, I can't wait to go home!" was heard from my walkie-talkie. It was Aera, my partner.

"Get a hold of yourself, they haven't even arrived yet. It's too early to think about home or rest." I told into my walkie-talkie.

Aera was there for me since the day one. She helped me with everything I needed and we soon became best friends. We were working on this case together and now she was sitting in the car waiting for me few kilometres away. When I'm done, she's gonna pick me up and we're going to hand all the evidence to our boss and then to the police.

"Oh, come on! Don't be such a mood killer. When we're done with all of this, let's grab a drink. My treat." she happily said

"I still can't get over the feeling, that all of this was way too easy. The way we got all the necessary informations, photos. I expected it to be impossible or at least very hard. In the end they are one of the most powerful mafia in Korea, maybe even in the world. To be honest, I expected to be killed." I said while trying to hide myself a little bit more in the bush and focus the camera.

"And, here we go again. Your always negative thoughts and catastrophic scenarios."

"They are not negative, they are realistic. It ain't my fault you are sunshine all the time." I said little bit angrily. She knew what I meant.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry. I know you are just being careful, but, maybe it's really just easy like that. Don't try making everything way too complicated. Some things are just not complicated."

"I know. I just think this is not one of them."

"Stop. Let's not talk about this anymore. Okay? Let's talk about...hmm...bath. Yeah, you love hot bath and ...hmm.. soju and some good k-drama and music and chat with your best friend Aera, right? Let's do all that, when we come home. What you think?"

I let out a small laugh. She knew exactly what I like and how to make me think about different things. No wonder, she's my best friend after all.

"Yeah, let's do it." I said with a little smile on my face.

"You're smiling right now, aren't you?" Aera said with a teasing voice.

How the hell did this girl know it, I asked myself.

"No, I'm not." I said and we both laughed.

"Wait, I see a car. They are probably arriving. I'll call when I'm finished."

"Okay, I'll be waiting for your signal." Aera said and all of sudden there was quite.

Way too big quiet. I could feel nervousness getting all over me. I held my camera firmly and was waiting.

"I got this. I can make it." I said to myself for the last time and waited for what was going to happen.
