Explorer of uncharted lands and finder of ancient artifacts y/n believes in facts. Not ancient mumbo-jumbo of old gods and testament tales of a princess and the living dead. But these things are part of history they are part of what she chases there's always a bigger picture. Why is she an archaeologist? Y/n dreamed of Ancient Egypt since she was a child, dreamed of a women with tan skin Dressed in gold sharp winged eyes, paint on her face.  Nick Morton was a thief he'd stolen from her the map leading to the biggest find her life and career. Snuck into her tent when she was sleeping and claimed it as his own taking all of the acknowledgement and respect of the find right from under her. Y/n gets dressed prepared for the harsh weather of  Iraq  she stalks through the sand unseen; the shadows and swept up sand in the air hiding her from the busy soldiers' gaze. He's surrounded by them, and she knows exactly why. The men march in unison leaving her unseen and unheard easily drowned hers out. She continues to creep through the sand, watching them all with a hawk's focus, until she sees. The man they were surrounding ....Morton. She walks up to him making sure to stop silencing her steps , she wants him to know she's their to give him hell . As their eyes lock she pounces dodging his punch and kicking him in the stomach and uppercutting him. He fall to his knees (She ignores the flash of nearly black eyes adorned in turquoise and a woman she's never met curling her hand into a perfect fist.)
She grabs the back of his head and Her fist collides with his nose making a solid crack. His head jerked with the impact as his blood hits the sand his face scrunched in pain. He rose with a pained look and an angry gaze but knowing he could do nothing about it since you were 10 times stronger when angry. The men backed away in fear"This is what you deserve ," she shouted before looking at the approaching Dr. Jennifer Halsey. As she walked over clearly just as upset as her friend at having their life's work stolen "That'll sting," she says to herself the same hand that looked over his face then slapped him. "I hope you fall , break your neck and die on this excavation ," she angrily states. "Now give me back the work that you stole from me" y/n demand. "Where is it?"Jenny repeats stepping closer to him. He flinches. "Don't play with me We're in the middle of the desert and your boss isn't protecting you right now. Do you want to go home or stay in this desert as a corpse body never found". "What? Where is what?" He said "The letter," she scowls deeper. "The map you stole from me leading to the next crypt of the century!." Y/n roared "whilst I was sleeping, he went through my things and stole the work he presented to you ," Jenny glares at Nick. "Where is the map, Morton?"A sudden weight hits his back leg. He collapses into the ground. A small puff of dust rises.Y/n looks away biting her cheek knowing how corrupted the system was in favor of men. She would never get her work back and even if she did it would always be in his name since he presented it first.

A stone face silently screams in the dark of a water crater. The underground leaves a lasting impression on the face. Earth clings to the black stone after millennia underground. Y/n chained in front of the pool Its eyes are dark She stands her own brown eyes trained on the scream.
Muted shrieks and gasps echo through her ears and a voice choked screams :

"Meritamen."

Y/n shivers at the halted name. Her heart aches deep in her chest as she struggles to breathe through it. The voice sounds so familiar, the name echoes through her ears until the scene changed.

ancient Egypt, Pharaoh sat watching his people with a straight back and a furrowed brow. He watched them bring in the waters of the Nile and the children of the workers play. They laughed and sung; some ran and kicked the ball. Each child was happy with round food filled bellies and clean clothes . He wondered then of his own child, the one still inside his wife.

She sat in the courtyard with the children watching them with gentle eyes. Her belly swelled with life and her hand cradled it rubbing lazy circles. 'There lies my son,' he thought. 'Safe in his mother and in moons, out to fullfill my legacy.' He wanted to be remembered. Pharoah watched his wife with a keen eye, but his thoughts were miles away.
