SM Entertainment confirmed on April 2 that Red Velvet member Wendy has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a press statement released on this day, SM Entertainment relayed, "Wendy has tested positive for COVID-19 as of today, April 2. Wendy, who has completed up to her third dose of the COVID-19 vaccination, is currently not showing any abnormal symptoms. She has halted all of her activities temporarily and is in quarantine. As a result, Wendy's upcoming schedules including her radio broadcasts, as well as fan sign events, have been delayed or cancelled."
Wendy is now the last member of Red Velvet to contract COVID-19, after members Irene, Joy, and Yeri tested positive for the virus earlier in March, and Seulgi tested positive for the virus earlier this week on March 30.
