BTS's Jungkook has fully recovered from COVID-19; will be participating in the 64th Grammy Awards

On April 3, BTS's agency Big Hit Music released an official statement announcing BTS member Jungkook has been released from quarantine, and will be participating on the stage of the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.

Jungkook has been released from the quarantine as of April 2 local time in the United States as he diagnosed with complete recovery from COVID-19.

Jungkook previously tested positive on March 27 and has been self-quarantining and receiving treatment since then. According to the statement, Jungkook also had mild symptoms such as sore throat, but he has said to be fully recovered. He has also taken the rapid antigen test in the United States in accordance to measures in order to join the Grammy Awards, and will be attending the awards ceremony with approval from the organisers.

The full statement reads:

"Hello.
This is Big Hit Music.

We would like to inform you that Jungkook, a member of BTS, has been cured of COVID-19 and has been released from quarantine as of the April 2 (Saturday) local time in the United States.

Jungkook has been self-quarantined and treated since the March 27 (Sunday) local time in the United States, and he will be allowed to go around doing daily activities as of today according to quarantine guidelines in the United States. He had mild sore throat symptoms during quarantine, but has recovered.

After the quarantine was lifted, Jungkook underwent a COVID-19 rapid antigen test in the United States to join the Grammy Awards schedule, and his recovery was confirmed, so he will attend the Grammy Awards with the approval of the organizers.

We would like to express our deep gratitude to the fans for worrying about the artist's health.

We will continue to consider the health and safety of artists first and faithfully comply with the quarantine guidelines.
