The news was confirmed on April 4 KST by Starship Entertainment through MONSTA X's official fan cafe.
"After being diagnosed with COVID-19, Hyungwon proceeded with home treatment according to the guidelines of the quarantine authorities and concentrated on recovering his health while resting," the agency stated, adding that quarantine has been lifted and he was free to resume daily activities.
Meanwhile, MONSTA X members Kihyun, I.M, and Minhyuk are still under COVID-19 quarantine.
