"𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘺 𝘯𝘰. 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘰."

Marie sighed from beside said boy as she found herself doing so often. Nancy Bobofit sat behind her, Percy and Grover and yet again Percy had let it slip that the girl was about to get beat. Marie instantly put a hand on the tanned boys arm to keep him in his seat if he just so happened to get up. The pair couldn't afford to get in trouble anymore, there weren't very many schools left in the area.

Marie had also looked over at Grover, the curly haired boy already looking at the pair as she nodded backwards towards Nacy who was still putting peanut butter and ketchup in the boys hair. The boy only shook his head, shrinking downwards and into himself to advoid any more things getting in his hair.

Marie could only sigh through her nose and set back up into her seat, leaning into Percy to advoid falling off the edge of the bus seat.

The bus finally came to a stop at the museum that Marie had been so excited for. The female followed the other people people out of the bus, waited for Percy and Grover, then continued inside. Mr. Brunner lead the way through the museum, his wheel chair rolling over the smooth flooring as the group passed marble statues, gallerys, and glass desplay cases.

Mr.Brunner began to speak about the large stone statue of a girl about their age, 16, and what the engravings ment on it. Marie tried to pay attention but it was hard, she was looking all over the room, reading every little peice of Greek available in sight. It was obviously clear that Percy was also trying to pay attention, him trying to quiet the other teens around him all while that evil math teacher glared.

Mrs.Dodds had been very clear with her hate against the pair, Percy and Marie and then her obvious favoring for Nancy. Just the thought of the two standing side by side made her want to hurl. Finally Percy snapped at one of Nacys comments, breaking me out of my trance and making me reach out and hold his hand, Incase he were to jump at her. The snickering started as Mr. Brunner was forced to stop the story.

"Mr. Jackson" he said "do you have a comment?" Precys face went red as he quietly answered black "No, sir." The teacher then pointed out to an engraving asking Percy to decider what exactly it was. Basically the origin of the mian three Greek gods that Marie had been interested in for a few years. Thats why Marie liked this class so much, and the teacher Mr.Bruner, because he seemed to love teaching them about it and would help Percy and Marie with their dyslexia that made most books hard to read.

Percy went on to explain the engraving but after Nancy comment about 'not needing it in real life' our favorite teacher asked me and Percy a following question to answer. "And why Mr.Jackson, Miss. Jac— Helshire, to paraphrase Nacy Bobofits excellent question, does this matter in real life?" Me and Percy sturglled for an answer, maybe it had something to do with the whole 'actions have consequences'
But Mr. Brunner wouldn't want her unsure answer so when Percy looked down at her, she shrugged with her arms now wrapped around her stomach tightly. "We don't know, sir" Marie swallowed the lump in her throat, not having the answer and then the people around them looking at them was getting to her as she blinked away the small amounts of water gathering in her eyes.

"I see," Mr.Brunner said, he had looked disappointed “Well, half credit, Mr. Jackson and Miss. Helshire. Zeus did indeed feed Kronos a mixture of mustard and wine, which made him disgorge his other five children, who, of course, being immortal gods, had been living and growing up completely undigested in the Titan’s stomach. The gods defeated their father, sliced him to pieces with his own scythe, and scattered his remains in Tartarus, the darkest part of the Underworld. On that happy note, it’s time for lunch. Mrs. Dodds, would you lead us back outside?”

Our class then drifted off in different groups, Marie could make out the faces of some girls holding their stomachs with sick looks on their faces and some the boys jumping ontop of eachother on their ways outside. When Grover and Percy suddenly stopped walking Marie froze with them as Mr.Brunner spoke to Percy, mostly. Marie spaced out looking at a nest at the top of the museum.

The group of three went outside to eat their lunch, Marie passing Grover a small bag of apples and then split one of her blue cookies with Percy. Marie tried to ignore the terrible weather above her, dark clouds rolling in quicker and quicker by the moment before she looked up and tugged her jacket closer to herself. "What the hell is going on with the weather? It's been shit since Christmas." She complained, leaning in Percy who also looked up from watching the boys throw crackers at pigeons.

Percy nodded before looking down at the female who was now staring in the direction he used to be "poor birds" she frowned, taking a final bite of her homemade cookie before pulling another out and passing it to the staring boy she was lent against.
Percy took the cookies and bgena to eat it as he and Grover began to speak quietly. Mr. Brunner was reading a paperback in his wheelchair with celery and an umbrella overtop of him. And yet both teachers, Brunner and Dodds, didn't notice Nacy Bobofit trying to pit pocket some poor woman with her freinds.

Percy was about to unwrap his sandwich when you know who walked over with her group, who then dropped her half eaten lunch into Grovers lap. My eyes twitched as I moved myself from Percys side, Nacy's half assed "oops" not helping her case as I glared at her crocked teeth and ugly orange freckles. Percy was doing the breathing he was right by the counselor, no dought for his mother. But as Nacy laughed again I blacked out in rage, a rush of water and a sound of tieing later Nancy was sat bottom first in the fountain with noted shoe laces that Grover had moved from. “Percy and Marie pushed me!” then suddenly Mrs. Dodds materialized next to us.

Some of the kids were whispering:
"Did you see—"
"—the water—"
"—like it grabbed her—"
"—the laces moved on their own–"

I didn’t know what they were talking about and Percys face said that he didn't either.

All I knew was that we were in trouble again.

As soon as Mrs. Dodds was sure poor sweer Nancy was okay, promising to get her a new shirt at the museum gift shop, blah blah and blah

Mrs. Dodds then turned on us. There was a triumphant fire in her eyes, as if we’d done something she’d been waiting for all semester. “Now, honey—”
“I know,” Percy grumbled. “A month erasing workbooks.” That was NOT the right thing to say. “Come with me,” Mrs. Dodds said. “Wait!” Grover yelped. “It was me. I pushed her.” I stared at him, stunned. I couldn’t believe he was trying to cover for us. Mrs. Dodds scared Grover to death.

She glared at him so hard his whiskery chin trembled. “I don’t think so, Mr. Underwood,” she said, with an angry frown painted onto her wrinkled face.
"But—"

“You—will—stay—here.”

Grover looked at Percy desperately. “It’s okay, man,” he told him. “Thanks for trying.” I finished, giving him a weak smile that probably looked more like a grimance, Dodds hand was gripping my shoulder so tight I swear I'd have a bruise.

“Honey,” Mrs. Dodds barked at Percy. “Now.”

The woman then appeared at the top of the stairs at the museum making my brows furrow, when the hell did she get up there? I wasn't spaced out that damn long right? As we moved up the steps Percy turned to look at Grover, making me follow his eyes to see the pale boy swearing nervously and begin to look between us and Mr. Grover who was approved in his book.

Much to absorbed in it to see the two students he had planned on portecting being dragged back inside the mesuem as they faced a VERY angry math teacher.

Note: I released half way through that I changed my own POV when writting so I apologize, I'm reading the books as I do this and if you've read it before Percy is telling us the story so I must have started to write that way as I progressed.
