Gajevy Week -- Day 6: Lost

"We should camp here"

Levy and Lili nodded at what Gajeel just said. They would set their camp here. Well, it was in the middle of the forest, true... But they had to deal with it. The mission they had to do occured in a little town, and despite the hours of train they already had; they couldn't do otherwise: they had to go through the forest to reach that town.

Levy sat down against a tree and sighed.

"Are you okay Levy??" Asked Lili as he bend over her, smiling at her.

"I'm so tired..." She let out with a small grin. Gajeel laughed a little.

"Well Shrimp you won't be able to rest for the moment ! We need wood to make a fire camp, and we need berries, and leaves !"

Levy let out a sigh again. That meant she had to get up and help. Lili looked at Gajeel.

"Oy Gajeel you're a little mean there... Let us have 5min of rest at least !" Shouted the Exceed. The iron-made man rolled his eyes.

"Right, right..."

Lili sat down next to Levy. Both stared at the sun that started to go down the horizon. After some minutes, Gajeel finally came to sit next to them.

He turned his head towards Levy. She was looking at the sky, smiling a bit. She looked... Beautiful.

"What the heck am I thinking?!" He wondered, mentally slapping himself. They had a mission to accomplish! It was not the moment to think about those kind of things!!

But when Levy herself turned her head towards him to smile at him, his heart could not take it. He immediately took her in his arms.

She did not even know what he was capable of to protect her. To protect that smile of her.

"G-Gajeel...?" Levy asked in a shy way. Gajeel tightened his arms around her. She understood he would not say anything more. "Gajeel..." She whispered, putting her little hands against his chest, cuddling up to him.

Lili gently looked at them. They did not know how much they looked like two lovebirds. Two lovebirds Lili would protect with his life. He loved them so much, and being together, the three of them, on a mission together... It was always a pleasure for Lili to be part of the team.

Finally, after almost twenty minutes, they finally decided they had to look for what they needed for their camp before the night would come.

Gajeel stayed to establish the camp, Lili went for wood and Levy for the berries and the leaves.

But none of them could imagine this evening was going to transform into a nightmare for some hours...

After an hour of waiting for them to come back, Gajeel started to slowly fall asleep. What the heck were they doing ?!

Finally, he heard some crack noises coming from behind him. He got up, frowning his brows.

"Oy, you surely took your time !!"

"Sorry Gajeel, most of the wood I've found were wet..."

"Oh, 'kay... Wait... Where is Levy??"

"Hu? Well, I thought she was already there.."

"No, she is not."

Worry and anxiety started to overwhelm Gajeel's mind and body. Lili put the wood down next to the tent.

"Don't worry Gajeel... Maybe she didn't find the berries and she went a little far away... She'll come back soon I'm sure."

Gajeel decided to trust Lili.
