The music stopped, followed by two loud claps that echoed through the dance room.

"Everyone-" Hyunjin shouted to get the noisy crowd to quieten down,"-Good job for today. We'll resume the practice after the exams. Until then try not to forget everything!"
He looked around scanning the faces which had both relief as well as anxiety on their faces, and with a final nod towards the door, he dismissed them.

The crowd grew noisy once more. The other instructors spoke for a minute with Hyunjin before taking their leave.

Hyunjin busied himself with his phone, doing nothing but disconnecting the speaker. Meanwhile, Seungmin walked towards him right from the back of the room where he was sitting with Minho throughout the practice.

He got a towel and passed it to Hyunjin who took it with a thankful smile.

"Long day, huh?"

The dancer let out an inaudible 'yeah' while dabbing the towel softly on his forehead.

"Good thing is, you don't have to meet some of them so frequently anymore."

Hyunjin nodded his head as a soft smile grew on his lips. "But if they forget a single step I'll get you to kill every single one of them for me. Okay?"

"Always at your service, your highness." The younger said as he dramatically bowed down a bit.

Hyunjin laughed it off, knowing very well that his boyfriend was incapable of even killing a bug.

"I've got something to say.", he said tossing the towel aside, sounding quite serious.

Seungmin's ears perked up at that. "Good thing or bad? Your expressions say it's good though."

"You'll get to decide." The taller shrugged.
This caused a hint of concern to flash across the younger's face.

Minho watched their interaction from afar and as he was about to leave, he thought it'd be polite to inform.

"Bye guys, good luck with the exam preparations!"
His wish was followed by two small waves at Hyunjin and Seungmin each.

Hyunjin wished and waved back while Seungmin only waved, his gaze not leaving the receding figure of Minho, lingering on the door as he left.

Hyunjin on the other hand continued what he had to say, but provided that his mind was elsewhere filled with countless stuff, the younger just heard the last few words.

"-be out for a week or two."

The trance was broken just like that, he brought back his focus to his boyfriend as his eyebrows knit in confusion.
"W-what?"

Quite surprised by his reactions, the taller said, "Oh c-mon it's not like we've never been apart."

"Um.. Yeah.. But I...I zoned out a bit...and didn't hear you properly."

"Oh..."
The excitement that he had before seemed to drain out of him. This time, he just stated it blandly.
"It's just that the company wanted me to perform a self choreography with an artist in collaboration. So I'll be there for a week or two for that."

"T-that's great Hwang!!!", Seungmin exclaimed with elation going in for a hug. He was genuinely happy for him. "We should definitely celebrate!"

The hug was returned loosely for a second before Hyunjin pulled back claiming that he was all sweaty. The younger compiled with it.

"Celebrations still pending Hwang!", he said while he went to get his bag that layed in a corner.

Hyunjin packed his stuff too. And then hand in hand they left the dance room walking down the corridors. The younger could not shut up about how happy he was, while the dancer acknowledged it with a lit-up face.
