ONCE THEY HAD DROPPED OFF CHLOE, Valerie had decided to go home and Cassie had received a text from Anthony showing that he had broken his leg from his game and he's now in crutches. So, the next morning, Cassie got up and did what any other best friend would do— take care of the other.

"Where are you going?" Rachel questioned just as Cassie was about to open the door to leave, "It's 10am in the morning."

Cassie rolled her eyes and whirled around, "Anthony broke his foot and is on crutches. I'm taking care of him."

"Are his parents home?"

"No." Cassie deadpanned, "His parents are on vacation."

"Nate?"

"No!" Cassie exclaimed, "Mom, just— I'm heading over to Anthony's, okay?"

"Tone." Rachel reminded as Cassie slowly nodded, "Go."

"Thanks mom." Cassie mumbled as she opened the door, closing it as swiftly as she left making her way toward her car and now opened the car door & buckled her seatbelt.

She put on some Taylor Swift and text Anthony she was on her way which only to receive a thumbs up making her roll her eyes.

The cold air from outside made her shiver as she pulled her black jacket over her hands as she pulled out of her driveway and drove off to the Foster household.

WHEN SHE FINALLY ARRIVED, she knocked on the door and quickly opened the door with her hand on a Target bag as she closed the door behind her.

"I'm here," Cassie called out into the seemingly open house, "Where are you?"

"My room!" Anthony shouted, "Come up!"

Cassie scoffed, placing the bag on the table only to switch it out for an ice pack in a paper cloth as she ran up the stairs panting and heaving once she got up.

"Anth?" Cassie whispered as she entered his room, the chill of the ice pack touching her hands also spotting Anthony's terrible state with his leg propped up and crutches right next to him. "Oh, you poor thing."

"Don't," Anthony scoffed. "Cass, I was so good out there, I wish you could've seen it."

"I bet," Cassie answered, "Where does it hurt?"

"Here." Anthony pointed to his injury and Cassie immediately placed the ice pack there. "Oh, thank you. Y'know, you're hot when you care for people."

Cassie rolled her eyes as she ignored the tingly feeling in her stomach but pushed it aside, "Thanks, I'm so flattered. Did you guys get in first place?"

Anthony looked up at the ceiling, "Nope. You know what the team wants?"

"What?"

"A party. Tonight. Here."

Cassie opened up her mouth in shock pointing to the back of his thigh. "You cannot walk! How can you—"

"That's what I was saying!" Anthony exclaimed, gesturing his attention averted on her. "But, they're bringing this hot girl over. Don't get jealous."

Cassie scoffed, "Oh yeah, like I'm totally gonna get jealous of you kissing a girl. I'm not even coming."

"No," Anthony whined, "You have to come. It'll be boring without you, Cass."

Cassie looked up at him with an expression that said 'really?' "Bro, just a second ago, you said a hot girl was coming. You'll be fine."

"Cassie!" Anthony repeated, "Pleaseeeee!"

"Oh my god," Cassie mumbled, "I'm best friends with a 5 year old."

Anthony then suddenly reached out for her hand which made Cassie even more confused as she felt the tingly sensation return, "Please."

"Fine. Better not see you make out with that."

Anthony smirked, "Ooh, you're jealous. I like it."

"Am not!"

"Am too!"

"Shut up Foster!"

Later on, Cassie arrived back at the Foster household, this time with Valerie. Entering the house, the sound of loud music welcomed them.

"This party literally sucks," Valerie groaned. "No hot boys, no—"

"Hey Val," A guy that Cassie didn't recognize greeted. "Do you want a drink?"

"I-uh, yeah!" She grabbed onto Cassie's arm and whispered in her ear, "I rest my case. This one's a keeper. See ya!" Valerie exclaimed, latching onto Eric's arm and skipping off leaving Cassie alone.

The blonde was now left alone as she looked up to the top of the stairs, seeing Anthony talking with a girl which made her form her mouth into an 'o' shape knowing well that was the girl and then she saw both of them lean in.

Immediately, her whole mood switched unexpectedly and she smoothed out her jeans shaking her head, not liking how this emotion felt.

"Cassie!" Anthony exclaimed rushing down the stairs, phone in hand, "Look!"

"Anthony, I don't really—"

"Cassie!" Anthony grabbed her chin and made her look right on the screen that showed her sister dancing to Nate's singing in New York City. "That's Nate and Chloe!"

Cassie gasped, "Oh my freaking god. They're in New York City."

"I know."

"Our siblings are in New York City."

"I know."

"Our siblings—"

"Repeating it isn't going to make them magically come home! We have to go get them, we'll be in trouble. You'll get in trouble."

"I know. Who do you think is behind this?" Cassie mumbled, playing with the rings on her hands until a sudden realization hit her.

"Libby." Both teens said in unison looking up at each other.
