(After work)

"Hey you," Kaeya was leaning up against the wall with a smile outside of the cafe. Albedo smiled in response. "Hey so, is everything alright? Like, actually. You can tell me anything." Kaeya walked over to Albedo and pushed his blonde hair behind his ear.

"I'm fine, now that you're here, I'm fine." Albedo hugged Kaeya with his head buried in Kaeya's shoulder. "Would you like to get something to eat?" Kaeya asked softly, "I'd love to." Albedo smiled.

(dinner)

As forks clanked against the plates, Albedo began to speak. "So, how was..your time off?" He awkwardly said. Kaeya looked up from his empty plate and awkwardly smile as he put his hair behind his ear, "It was okay. I'm sorry for, y'know." Kaeya looked away, "Mhm." Albedo looked down at his plate.

It stayed awkwardly silent between them for a few minutes until Albedo began to speak again.

"You know, school ends in a month. Did you pick a major?" He asked as he looked up at Kaeya, "Oh, actually..I did have one in mind." Kaeya chuckled a little.

"Oh really? Tell me more." Albedo looked back down at his plate and played with his food in boredom.

"I actually want to go to this one college that's not that far from here, only an hour, for music." Kaeya said. "That's nice." Albedo replied.

"And, uh, what about you?" Kaeya asked awkwardly. "I'm just going to an art college in L.A." Albedo said.

"Oh? In L.A.? I see.." Kaeya looked down at his plate. "That's..far, don't you think?" Kaeya let out a worried chuckle.

"Yeah..I guess. I decided before I met you so I guess I didn't really think about who I'd leave behind." Albedo sighed.

"Leave behind, huh?" Kaeya gripped onto his fork and then jerked his head up at Albedo.

"But, let's not leave this night on a bad note. Did you hear about the end of year party that's happening?" Albedo looked up at Kaeya, "Oh, yeah, I did. Are you going?" He asked, "Of course, it's not gonna have any alcohol or anything like that since it's at the school." Albedo yawned.

"Ah, okay..I'm going also." Kaeya replied.

The waiter came over and asked if they were done, they both said yes with a nod and the waiter gave them a check.

They then left the restaurant and walked through the street together.

"Don't you think L.A. is a bit far?" Kaeya asked, "Why are you asking me that? Are you worried we can't keep a distant relationship?" Albedo teased.

"Oh stop, I know we will be able to." Kaeya smiled, but he didn't really trust his own words.
