Ch3 Omegas and Moutains

I woke up from a pleasant dream with Kuro missing. I could hear the soft noise of a shower from the bathroom so I assumed he was showering. While I waited for him to get out of the shower I remembered the way he rubbed my tummy to make me fall asleep. I experimentally gave my tummy a few rubs. It felt really nice, like a warm bath after a long day. I decided I would read about how that works later from the system menu. Kuro came out of the bathroom wearing one of my hoodies. Since he was taller than me it showed his stomach. To be fair it fit his aesthetic. 
"Yo Shiro, shower and let's head out to the mountain like you said we were going to." he said grinning.
I showered and put on another new outfit. It was a purple thick fluffy hoodie with white soft winter gloves. I also wore a pair of black pants with a cat symbol on the left thigh. I wasn't going to wear it the whole day though so I just put the outfit in spatial storage after trying it on. I just put on my regular outfit for the time being. After walking through a portal I made to my office in the town, me and Kuro were greeted by Anumi.
"Lord Shiro, welcome back," She said.
"Do you think you could set up a carriage for the rose mountain range?" I asked Anumi.
"Sure! It should be ready in three hours." She told me excitedly.
I stopped her and handed her a few gold coins so she could grab some stuff to eat while she helped set up the carriage. I was about to leave to walk around town for a bit when Kuro stopped me.
"Yo, we should test something since you're almost there." Kuro said.
"Test what? And almost to what?" I replied.
"Well I don't know if you've noticed but your body is almost old enough to start showing its secondary gender. Basically you'll be an omega, alpha, or beta. I can't explain it all right now." Kuro said as he moved his arms to summon a portal.
I followed him curious as to what he was talking about.

We eventually got to a tall building in the demon realm. Kuro led me inside and talked to a lady at the counter. After that he told me to sit on a chair to wait.
"We don't have to wait long. Dr. Rina is a good friend of mine so she'll make us a priority. Oh, and take this" Kuro said, handing me a bag of candy.
While we waited, I ate the bag of sweet cherry-flavored candy stars. I was almost finished when I heard my name getting called. Kuro and I followed the doctor to a room with two chairs, a bed and a desk.
"So Kuro, who is this dude? Is he your boyfriend or something?" The doctor said.
"Nah, he's just the love demon king and my besty Shiro."
"Huh, you're joking."
"Nope!
"Well, let's carry on."
Their banter was kinda comedic to me. The doctor pulled out a needle. The sight of the needle made my heart rate quicken and time feel like it was going to slow down. I shook uncontrollably and my mind flashed back to the hundreds of needles I had to be stabbed by daily just for the doctors to run tests in that damned hospital. Suddenly things flashed back to normal when Kuro brought me into a hug. My breath slowed and I calmed down for the most part.
"Calm down Shiro, it ain't gonna hurt, just close your eyes and remember I'm here." Kuro said.
I closed my eyes trying to block out the painful memories. Before I knew it Kuro told me to open my eyes. The doctor took the blood sample and injected it into a vial with a clear liquid in it. When my blood came in contact with it the liquid turned pink.
"Hm, guess you're an omega. I'll have Kuro explain that since he'll make it easier to understand then me in all honesty." The doctor said,
"Yay! A fellow omega!" Kuro squealed.
Kuro led me outside of the hospital.

After a bit of walking Kuro started to explain what the doctor meant by omega.
"So, omegas are usually smaller and more submissive than betas or alphas. Explains your height and the belly rub thing. Two you'll need to make a nest. Basically a safe space that has a bunch of soft things and things that make you happy. And when you finally get a boyfriend maybe some of his clothes or something. And third as a zeckon you probably know about these since Zeckons don't have the omega beta alpha system like the other races. But you'll have monthly heats. Basically you turn into a horny mess for a day or two. Most places do sell suppressors though. Since you don't have a scent yet you aren't affected by the other effects other than the height thing. You'll probably gain a scent in a few weeks so let's get this mountain stuff done before then." Kuro said.
I nodded while finishing the candy stars. I told him we should head back to check the progress on the carriage. He agreed with me so we made a portal over to Anumi.
"Oh! Hello lord Shiro, the carriages were actually done really quickly since Enigma helped set it up." Anumi said.
"Alrighty then! I recommend you pack some gear for the cold 'cause we're gonna depart in 30 minutes." I said.
Kuro and I walked over the carriage and got inside. It was pretty big and had really soft seats as well as a carpeted floor with colors in the shape of a cat face. I sat down on one side of the carriage and laid my head against the wall. I soon fell asleep.
